Mariah's "The Cold Winter Day"

In this story, is "coat", is "ice skate",
is "polar bear", and is "house".

One winter morning, Tom, Samantha, and Baby Preston wanted to go ice skating out on the frozen pond.

They put on their s. Baby Preston had to put a hat and some mittens on.

Then, they went in the forest. Tom threw a small rock on the ice to make sure it was safe.

Then they saw a come out of the forest. The baby was scared all of a sudden.

Preston, the baby, and Samantha got on the ice. Tom said, “CRACK! The ice cracked.” Suddenly, Preston fell in the frozen ice. Samantha heard Tom say the ice looked like it was going to break. Preston was in the freezing ice. Preston tried to keep his head up but he couldn’t.

Tom did not know what to do. Without thinking, he ran to the pond. He reached and unbuckled his belt. He threw the belt but Preston didn’t catch it. “Try it again,” said Samantha. Tom tried again. That time Preston caught it.

Baby Preston was scared and freezing cold. Tom and Samantha brought Preston home. When mom saw Prston freezing cold, she said to Tom and Samantha, “What happened?”

“It is a long story,” they sighed.
