Kristin's "When Sally Fell In"

In this story, is "coat", is "ice skate",
is "polar bear", and is "barn".

One day Sally asked if she could go to the ice pond. “Yes Sally,” said mom. So she went to the pond with her dad. They went ice skating, but when they got on the ice, Sally fell in the water. Dad threw a rope and saved her. So they went home. A very hungry, very large was watching them. The jumped out. He scared Sally and Dad. Sally said, “He looks mean!” So they ran. Dad saw a . “Let’s go in the ,” said Sally. So they ran in. “Look Sally a . “ “Can I wear it?” asked Sally. “Yes, Sally” said Dad. “This is scary. Let’s go!” said Sally. So dad looked outside. The was not in sight, so they went home. “Mom, mom” said Sally, “I saw a .” “What!” said mom. “I saw a !”
