Kiri's "Unhappy Halloween"

In this story, is "pumpkin", is "crow",
is "scarecrow", is "tree", and is "candy".

The day before Halloween I heard some people talking. They said, "Be careful tomorrow. The Hallowspook is coming tomorrow. Every 9 years he comes to eat his 9,000th supper."

I thought that probably someone started a rumor. But the next day on the news there was weather reporters reporting everyone was heading west. But I stayed here in my normal village. I wanted to know what this Hallowspook was. At 2:00 I decided to get prepared for any danger. But I was confused, this Hallowspook could be a rumor, or a certain kind of weather. But if it is a kind of bad weather, it would ruin Halloween! Now that's a real disaster! Well, if it's a rumor, that might ruin Halloween.

I guess there will be no carved in front of the store. No s to scare off the s that always eat the juicy tomatoes. No s with spider webs hanging from them, and most of all, no .

A clutter of birds with at least 100 birds rushed by like bullets. Those birds told me wisely that Hallowspook wasn't a real rumor. It was a terrible kind of weather, so I got my pillow, my blanket, and food and stuck them in the basement.

Then I went back into the house to look for Mr. Brown, my teddy bear. I didn't want to let him get ripped and torn. I wouldn't live a day without Mr. Brown! I've had him since the day I was born. Since then I've loved him more than my mom, my dad, and my bratty brother. But I love my sister more than Mr. Brown. Her name is Tracy, but she got married 2 years ago. The only reason I liked her best was because when I was little she was the only one who changed my diapers, took me to the park, rocked me to sleep, stayed home and played with me, and even sometimes sneak me into her classroom. Now she's married and I am 8 years old. That's not old enough to stay home alone. That night at ten oíclock I found out that some people had told people to say stuff just to scare me.

The End
