nce upon a time in an island far away,there lived a frog named Hoppy.There were lots of other frogs on the island,but Hoppy had no friends.The reason why he didn't have any friends was because he always bragged about how well he could hop.You see,he could hop really high and really far.In fact,Hoppy was the best hopper on the island.When the other frogs made mistakes when practicing their hopping,Hoppy would tease them instead of encouraging them to try again.This made the other frogs very sad.They tried to tell him to stop,but Hoppy didn't listen.No one liked him at all.
One day,I.Q.(who was the smartest frog on the island)came up with an idea.She told the other frogs about her idea,and they thought it would work.They didn't like the idea very much,but they decided to give it a try.
So,the next day they brought Hoppy to the beach. Everyone was cheering for him.
"Hooray for Hoppy!" "Your the best!"
Hoppy was cheering for himself,too.
"Oh,yes,I know,"Hoppy said as he hopped through the crowd of frogs.
When he got to the end of the beach,he decided to show off his hopping,as the frogs had expected.He jumped as far and as high as he could,and landed on another island far away.I.Q.'s plan had worked.
When Hoppy got to the island,he decided to live there.But that is another story.
