"ILL"
by
Ruth

H
orribly hot and feeling crummy

Funny gurgles in your tummy

Trying every kind of pill

That's what it's like to be ill

Aching head

you lie in bed

Trying to hide away

Don't want to see the doctor, you know what he'll say

Horrible medicines you've already had

The poor fellow must be mad

What does he honestly think they'll do

Just because the flavours new?

Off they drag you all the same

Do they think it is a game

For Heavens sake you're ill you're ill

You want to lie down and be still

But no their way is best they say

Never mind get on with it

You'll get better soon and when you're fit

It's safe to say, you'll be over the moon

The End
