im and Sandra were walking down the forest trail to their little play clearing.Kim said,"Oh! You know the book I lent you? Well I forgot that is was due back to the library this Friday. I told you it was next friday. Can I have it back?
Sandra said,"But I'm not finished with it!" "Well it's due tomorrow!" "Well too bad!" Sandra ran ahead of her friend. "Wait!" Kim called after her. She started running too.
Since she was the fastest girl in her class she soon caught up. They were standing in the clearing. But something was different. Something was odd. They shrunk! T
hey were now only three inches tall! "Hello. You have to pass three tests to get out." said a voice behind them. They whirld around. A fairy was speaking to them!
She handed them a piece of paper. At the top it said: TEST OF KNOWLEDGE. There were three questions on it. The first one said,"If your mother says everything your father says is true and your father says everything your mother says is true, what are they saying?"
They looked at each other and ran. They ran about a foot when they met a troll. He said," Run. Fast. No finish. You stay. Forever!" Kim said,"Great!" They ran fast.
Suddenly they came to a humongous crack in the ground. They ran to the side but couldn't get through. So they ran away. When they were out of breath they stopped,panting.
An unicorn came to them and they climbed on her back. While they were flying Kim slipped and fell. Sandra screamed and dived after her.
Suddenly they were back in the forest. They completed the Test of Friendship! "Sorry about earlier. I'll give your book back tomorrow morning."Sandra said.
And with that they walked out of the forest, smiling.
