ing the phone rang at Shannon's house.it was a warm day in September to be exact it was September 1 witch is the 1st day of School and Shannon was going into grade 6 it was her last year of elementry and she was so happy because she got to see all of her friends again.
"I'll get it" Shannon yelled to her mother who was geting ready for work.
"Hello, this is Shannon speaking"she said into the phone
"Hi, is Susan there please?"(Susan is her moms name)the person said into the phone
"Yes she is hold on 1 minite please"Shannon said and she went and got her mom and her mom got the phone
"It is 8:15 i have got to go mom see you at 3:20"Shannon said as she walked out the door .
"Hi Shannon how was your summer?"Katie asked
"Ok I guess I got to go to Disneyland, and to vancuver island as well so i would say ya" she said
"We have 3 new teachers in our school and 1 of them is ours"katie said After school that day
"I can't beleve that we have so much homework due next monday i mean 3-5 pages mabee but 100 on the first day come on "Shannon said to katie on the phone
"I know its so much for the first day of school"katie said back
it was 6 oclock that night and it was almost Shannons dinner time and she had to go
"I Have to go now"Shannon said
"Okay BYE" KATIE SAID AND HUNG UP THE PHONE
They had homework every day even for holidays so Shannon and Katie changed schools and for the rest of the year they had a great experience.
