harlotte plonked herself down on the chair. Today was not a good day. She'd rather be doing homework than have been told they were going on a school outing on Tuesday.
"Mum," she called dashing into the kitchen. "No need to yell!" said her mother looking quite stunned. "Oh yes there is mum.Were going on a trip."said Charlotte. "How lovely" said her mum,stroking their dog. "No way" said Charlotte feeling sorry for herself.She trudged upstairs listening to the dishes clanking.The door banged open and her brother came in.
"You're going on a trip ha ha"laughed Daniel her brother. "Be quiet"she shouted slamming the door in his face. Tuesday came and Charlotte grabbed her bag and ran for school. Hayley and Amy were waiting for her by the coach.
"Were going to a theme park." said Hayley. "You wish." said Amy running onto the coach. Hayley and Charlotte ran up after her to the back of the coach so they could sit next to each other. "So where are we going?" Charlotte asked. "On a two night trip to London."replied Hayley. "Only mums and dads knew." nodded Amy. When they were there they did diving at the local pool and Charlotte was brilliant at it. They went to a castle in the south of London which was massive and they even saw the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace. Amy,Hayley and Charlotte had such fun.On the last day they all saw a musical at a West End theatre and they all thought it was so funny.
At the very end of it all they were allowed an ice cream for being good.
"I don't know why I thought it would be awful"she thought,"because it was excellent."
