n the year 3069 A.D., just when everyone has recovered from the biggest asteroid that ever hit earth...
Some scientists were studying the stars. They were tracking if there were any other asteroids left. After the last impact 1000 years ago, they sure didnÕt want that to happen again.

Suddenly, one of them cried, Ò Dr. Martin! Dr. Martin! Take a look at this!Ó The blond haired woman looked at the computer screen.
Ò Hmm...that doesnÕt look like an asteroid, Thomas. Get a closer look,Ó she said.
Her young assistant made the picture clearer and bigger.

There was a big black thing sucking everything in.
Ò Call the president! I think we have a black hole in our hands,Ó she said putting her hand to her head.
Ò Not again.Ó

It was 3 A.M., when the board had gathered up to talk about the black hole.
The president was talking inside a microphone room. ( ItÕs a kind of room, that had microphones in its walls, so everyone could here him )

Ò What is it that was so important that we have to gather up in 3 A.M.?,Ó the president of Arabia asked.
The president said calmly, Ò There is a black hole that was found in our solar system. ItÕs going to suck everything up in 1 year. And Earth is right in the middle of it.Ó
Everyone gasped.
Ò What are we going to do?,Ó the Chinese ambassador asked.
Ò The people who worked on the last black hole to cover it up, saved Earth. But, that was more than 70 years ago. And they had used the Crystals of Albratir. They are now dead. And the crystals are very far away. We have notified the aliens who live on distant planets. To tell them to help us. Unfortunately, they are under attack from an enemy. We are on our own.Ó

Suddenly, the French ambassador asked, Ò What do we do when we have a national crisis on our hands?Ó
Ò We call the top notch scientists, doctors, thinkers, and other people,Ó someone called out.
Ò No. We try to improvise as best as we can. Now, the people who helped us cover up our last black hole are dead. What about their family? There must be someone else who can help us.Ó
Ò Yes. You are right. We will notify them immediately,Ó the president said.

In New York...
Ò Mom! I really got to go!,Ó Kyle, the sixteen year old cried.
Ò Kyle! Where did you put my wedding ring?,Ó his mother asked.
Ò Mom! I didnÕt put it anywhere, okay?Ó
Kyle tried to push his way out the door. He almost made it when his momÕs boyfriend, Larry, came in.
Ò Get out of my way,Ó Kyle said.
Ò Hey! DonÕt talk to me like that, alright? Now, where did you put the engagement ring I gave your mom?,Ó he said.
Kyle pushed back his dark brown hair and said, Ò So youÕre the guy that told mom I stole her ring? I would never do that.Ó
Ò Well, itÕs very likely. We know that you donÕt like me. Why donÕt you just admit to it?,Ó he said.

Kyle looked at him in disgust.
Ò I didnÕt do it. And if you donÕt believe me, fine. I donÕt care. Besides, my mom doesnÕt need someone like you to take care of her. She has me,Ó Kyle said as he rushed out the door.
Ò What are we going to do with him?,Ó his mom asked.

Kyle walked around downtown.
Ò Man, I wished dad was still alive,Ó Kyle said thinking back.
His dad died when he was ten years old.
After that, Kyle, always felt threatened when his mom tried to bring home a guy.

He sat at the front steps of an office building.
Everyone knew who he was. The famous Kyle Dunner. The grandson of Frank Dunner. The famous guy who saved the world from a Black Hole some 70 years back. And his dad was so proud. He became an astronaut. Kyle was also extremely proud. ThatÕs why he wanted to do something like his grandfather did.

When he arrived back home, he said, Ò This is Kyle. Open up.Ó To the computer door.
It didnÕt open.
Thinking the computer didnÕt hear right, he said, again, Ò ItÕs me. Kyle, Computer. Open up.Ó
It didnÕt budge.

Ò Sorry. We did not identify that voice. Please look in the hole so that we can identify you by your iris,Ó the computer said.
Kyle looked into the hole.
Ò Scanning. Scanning,Ó the computer repeated.
Then, Ò Sorry. We did not identify you. Perhaps you might want to check some other houses.Ó
Ò MOM!!!,Ó Kyle called out, Ò MOM!!!Ó
The computer became aware of the loudness. It wasnÕt usual for something this loud to occur.
Ò Please step away from the house. Please step away from the house,Ó the computer said.
Ò Aw, man!Ó

Kyle sat across the street.
Ò I just wanted to go into my house. Why is it taking so long?Ó
Kyle looked around.
Suddenly, a Hubbell car pulled up.
Ò MOM!!!,Ó Kyle cried, Ò Why is it that I canÕt even get into my own house!?!Ó
Ò Why?,Ó her boyfriend asked
Ò Duh!, thatÕs why IÕm asking you,Ó Kyle said bitterly.

Ò Well, Kyle, I canÕt see why you canÕt get into our house.Ó
Kyle said, Ò Ask Larry, here. He fixed it!Ó
Larry looked at his mom and all of a sudden remembered something.
Ò Oh! Of course! How could I be so dumb? I forgot to add KyleÕs voice activation to it. Sorry, Kyle.Ó
Kyle mumbled, Ò Yeah, right. You probably did this on purpose.Ó

His mom opened the door.
Suddenly, the computer said, Ò Phone call from the president of the United States.Ó
Ò What?,Ó his mom asked, Ò It must be a prank call.Ó
Kyle said, Ò Mom. We have this filter for prank calls, remember? LetÕs just see who it is?Ó
Kyle picked up the phone and said, Ò Hello?Ó
Ò Hi. IÕm the president of the united states,Ó a person said.
Ò Yeah, right. And IÕm a zombie. Whatever. See, whoever you are...Ó
Ò I am the president of the united states. We deeply need your help. Is your mother home?,Ó the person interrupted.

Kyle looked shocked. It just might be the president. He handed the phone to his mom. They talked for a while. Then, his mother dropped the phone.

Tyler turned on the computer. It was school. Everyday 5 hours a day. See, school takes place inside a computer.

He sat down and said, Ò Any messages for me?Ó
The computer said, Ò No. But, you do have a test today. Touch anywhere in the screen to take it.Ó
He was almost finished with the test, when his grandma came up.
Ò Tyler,Ó she said, Ò You have a phone call from a girl named, Ashley.Ó
He stood up and ran for the phone.
Ò Kids these days,Ó his grandmother said.

He had those camera phones.
Ò Hi, Ashley,Ó he said.
Ò Hello, Tyler. I was wondering if you could go to the dance with me,Ó she said.
His eyes widened.
Ò DonÕt look at me like that, Tyler. ItÕs rude,Ó she said.
Ò But, wonÕt, Edwin, mind?,Ó Tyler asked.
Edwin was her boyfriend.
Ò I broke up with him. And I need someone to go to the dance with me,Ó she said smiling.
Tyler quickly said yes. And ran back up to his room.

Ò Ashley, are you really planning to do this. I mean, TylerÕs a nice guy,Ó her friend, Jacquelyn, said.
Ò Of course. The only way to make, Edwin, jealous is to get some geek to go out with me. Then, heÕll be sorry,Ó Ashley said.
Jacquelyn shook her head.

Tyler got dressed and went to get Ashley. Suddenly, there was a phone call.
It was Ashley.

TylerÕs hope sank to the deepest most darkest spot in the whole universe.

Tyler sat down.

Samantha turned on the television. She didnÕt need to use a remote. She just had to say it. She had one of those voice activated houses, like, Kyle.
Ò Computer, turn on the TV,Ó she said.
The computer turned it on and said, Ò What would you like to see, Samantha?Ó
Ò ItÕs Sammy,Ó Samantha corrected, Ò I donÕt know. Give me a program listing.Ó
The computer told her everything that was going on.
Ò Okay. Turn to channel B18,Ó she said.
Ò Computer, turn off the TV,Ó someone said.
Ò Hey! I was watching that!,Ó Sammy said turning around.
A blond hair woman put her arms on her hips.
Ò Sammy! Go and do your homework. Get Gerald!,Ó she said.
Sammy went up the stairs and said, Ò Gerald! Gerald!Ó
Her older brother came down.
Ò Hey, squirt. What is it?,Ó he said.
Ò Phone call.Ó

Sammy went upstairs. Then, her mother screamed. Sammy turned off her computer and ran downstairs.
Ò What happened?,Ó she asked.
Ò GeraldÕs going to go and find the Crystals of Albratir,Ó her mother said crying.
Ò Like grandma did?,Ó Sammy asked.
Ò Yes.Ó
Gerald sat down on the chair and said, Ò Then, IÕm gonna die like, grandma?Ó
Sammy said, Ò No. Gerald, whoÕs gonna take care of mom and dad?Ó
Ò You, Sammy.Ó
Ò I canÕt do it! I canÕt!,Ó Sammy said, Ò You canÕt go!Ó
Gerald sat down and waited.

That night, Gerald, was sleeping.
Ò Sorry, Gerald. I just canÕt let you die. When you grow up, you can support mom and dad. IÕm too young. YouÕre almost a grown up. And itÕll be better if I go,Ó Sammy said.
She rushed out the door and caught a bus.
Ò Where to?,Ó the computer asked.

Rick Johnson looked inside the cupboard.
Ò ThereÕs nothing to eat!,Ó he cried.
Ò What do you mean thereÕs nothing to eat. The fridge is packed,Ó his father said.
Ò I said, thereÕs nothing that I want to eat,Ó he said.
Ò Rick, when I was little, and youÕre grandpa was out looking for those crystals, we didnÕt have anything to eat for days. Then, when he came back, we had to wait another week, before the money came in,Ó his father said.
Ò Yeah, and in my day, we get to eat ice-cream,Ó Rick said.
Ò You know, Angela, canÕt eat ice-cream,Ó his dad said.
Ò Angela, Angela, Angela! Well, itÕs not my fault you had to marry someone with diabetes!,Ó Rick said.
Ò Angela is a good mother.Ó
Ò Stepmother,Ó Rick corrected.

Rick picked up his drawings and said, Ò IÕm going to take a walk.Ó
He walked around.
Ò Grandpa! Why did you have to kill mom!,Ó he cried, Ò You didnÕt have to leave her side, when she had cancer! You decided to die, right? Why!?! If you wouldÕve just stayed for a few more days, mom wouldÕve lived a few more years!Ó
Rick said as he sat down crying.
His mother died of cancer and he was 5 years old. And he blamed his grandfather.

He walked home with tears in his eyes.
Ò Rick! Why are you crying?,Ó Angela said when Rick walked in.
Ò None of your business. Leave me a lone,Ó Rick said.
He turned on the computer.

Ò Yes. One from the president of the united states,Ó the computer replied.

He read the contents and said, Ò Wow.Ó

In Washington D.C...
Everyone was gathered around the president.
Ò Everyone! I am so glad you were able to make it,Ó he said.
Sammy looked at Tyler.
Ò Hey, kid,Ó she said, Ò WhatÕs the problem? You arenÕt chickening out, are you?Ó
Tyler shook his head.
Ò IÕm just afraid.Ó
The president stared at Sammy.
Ò ArenÕt you supposed to be a boy?Ó
Ò You mean, Gerald. HeÕs, uh, out sick. So, I decided to take his place,Ó she said,
Ò The president of the united states, doesnÕt think a girl can do a boyÕs work?Ó
Ò No! No! ItÕs just that I was expecting someone else. Oh, well. I guess, youÕll have to do.Ó
Kyle asked, Ò What do we have to do?Ó
Ò Well, thereÕs a black hole in our solar system. We have only 1 year to find the Crystals of Albratir and cover it up. ItÕs not going to be easy. The Crystals are located on different galaxies and different planets. There are four crystals. Each one is rainbow colored.Ó
Ò There are many rainbow colored gems,Ó Rick said.
Ò ThatÕs true. DonÕt mistaken it. Last time, we lost one of our men...Ó
Ò Women. SheÕs my grandma, that died,Ó Sammy said.
Ò IÕm so sorry,Ó Kyle said.
Ò Yeah, us, too,Ó Tyler and Rick said.
The president said, Ò Yes. She did die. Because she had the wrong crystal. The real crystal was on her neck. You know, those crystals that people wear that are actually put into the skin. Well, she had that on her neck. She couldnÕt take it off. So, she threw herself into the black hole. Once the crystals were in...the hole sealed up. But, the crystals arenÕt gone. They went back to their original origin.Ó
Ò So, are we going to find the crystals?,Ó Rick asked.
The president nodded.
Ò Yes. Not until youÕve gotten training.Ó

They had two weeks training.
And soon, they were inside a huge spaceship.
Rick looked inside the space ship and said, Ò Man, this place is huge!Ó
Ò Hey, look, thereÕs even indoor plumbing,Ó Kyle said.
Ò Way cool,Ó Sammy said smiling.
Tyler looked around and looked at all the controls.
Ò Did we actually learn what these buttons are for?,Ó he asked.
Rick shrugged.

Ò Okay. Take your seats, astronauts. And counting down for blast off...Ó
Suddenly, some people rushed inside the room. Sammy saw that it was Gerald and quickly pushed the blastoff button.
Ò What are you doing? We didnÕt even sit, yet!,Ó Tyler cried.
The whole spaceship moved and shook.
Ò Sammy! Get out of there, now!,Ó Gerald cried.

They flew into space and soon Earth wasnÕt in sight.
Ò So, why did you take your brotherÕs place without permission?,Ó Kyle asked.

Ò When, you went and pushed the button and when three people came rushing in. And they were just happening to call your name,Ó Tyler said.
Ò Maybe, we should turn back, then.Ó
Ò Tyler! Are you crazy! WeÕre here to save the world, and you want to go back. No time, left. Es Loco!,Ó Rick yelled.
Tyler said, Ò Alright, alright. You donÕt have to yell at me in Spanish.Ó

They took their seats and then, there was a big TV, that came out of the wall.
Ò Hey! Do we get cable?,Ó Sammy asked.
Suddenly, the presidentÕs face was on it.
Ò Ew! I donÕt want to watch that!,Ó Sammy said turning the channel.
Each channel had his face.
Ò I forgot to appoint someone as captain,Ó he said, Ò And Sammy, you are in big trouble when you get back.Ó
Sammy groaned.
Ò The captain will have to be Kyle. Since, he did his best in training.Ó
Kyle said, Ò But, IÕm only 15! Maybe, Rick could be the captain. HeÕs older than me.Ó
Rick came up to Kyle and said, Ò Kyle, age doesnÕt matter. As long as you got the brains. And you showed you got some. So, take the job...captain.Ó
Sammy said, Ò Yeah! So, what do we call you now? Captain Kyle?Ó
Ò KyleÕs fine,Ó he replied.
Ò Okay. We should be starting to look for crystals now,Ó Tyler said.
Ò Yeah! CÕmon, team, letÕs go!Ó
Tyler was the one driving. And he wasnÕt even 15, yet.
He pulled the forward stick and they were blasting off into space.

Soon, they came upon a big yellow planet.
Ò This is the Pegusus9821, galaxy. ThatÕs Pegasus, the planet. Habitat of the Ferbs. Dangerous creatures, that have sharp claws, teeth, and skin that is as hard as armor. Is a carnivore,Ó the computer said.
The team gulped.
Ò Uh, weÕre going down there?,Ó Sammy asked.
Ò ThatÕs where the first crystal is,Ó Kyle replied, Ò We got to.Ó
Rick said, Ò CÕmon! What are you waiting for! LetÕs go kick some alien butt.Ó
They went down to the planet.

Tyler took out the crystal tracker.
Ò It says itÕs right there,Ó Tyler said moving to the right.
Ò Let me look at that,Ó Kyle said.
Tyler handed him the tracker.
Ò Wow, itÕs moving real fast for a crystal,Ó Sammy said.
Ò Yeah,Ó Rick said, Ò It is, isnÕt it?Ó
Then, they heard a loud noise. Suddenly, something big and bug like, showed up.
Ò A FERB!!!,Ó Sammy cried, Ò RUN!!!Ó
The team started to run really fast.
Ò The crystal is right behind us,Ó Tyler said.
Kyle turned around.
Ò Nope. Just a huge ferb,Ó Kyle said running as fast as he can.
Ò It must be inside the ferb, then,Ó Rick cried.

Tyler turned around and said, Ò Hey, whereÕs Sammy?Ó
The ferb was no where in sight. And so was Sammy.
They stopped.
Ò They got, Sammy!,Ó Rick said.

Sammy ran into the forest. The ferb was right in back of her.
Ò Help!,Ó she cried.
She soon found herself trapped. No where to go. A dead end.
Ò IÕm a goner,Ó Sammy said.
She stood up and said, Ò Come on! Eat me!Ó
But, the ferb just stood there. It didnÕt run, anymore.
Ò Well?Ó
It just looked at her weird and then, she heard a laugh from behind her.
She turned around.

Ò He doesnÕt want to hurt you,Ó a girl said.
She had green hair and her skin was orange. She also had wings.
Ò IÕm a Drek. My nameÕs Opla. My family moved here to study the ferbs. TheyÕre actually nice and hostile creatures. As long as you donÕt frighten them. If you do, they come after you,Ó she replied.
She had on a dress made with some kind of dark cloth.

Ò Sammy! Sammy!,Ó Kyle cried.
Ò Can you track her?,Ó Rick asked.
Tyler looked at his little device the scientists gave him.
Ò If the ferb is after her, we should be able to find her. Um...ItÕs here. It stopped, I guess.Ó
Ò Well, letÕs find her,Ó Rick said.

Ò So, are the ferbs dangerous?,Ó Sammy asked, Opla.
Ò No. They just need some care and love and thatÕs it. This one here is Yermain,Ó Opla said pointing to the ferb.
Ò And I thought it was trying to eat me. I guess I startled it when I screamed.Ó
Ò I guess so. You shouldnÕt scream so much. Only this kind of ferb is hostile. The most dangerous is the Red Ferbs. They destroy everything in their path. They make other ferbs look bad.Ó

Sammy nodded.
Yermain followed them back to OplaÕs house. It was up in a tree. A really tall tree.
Suddenly, some guys came out.
Ò WeÕre armed! Ferb, let go of Sammy!,Ó a voice cried from behind a tree.
Ò Kyle?,Ó Sammy asked.
Kyle came out.
Ò Why isnÕt the ferb after us?,Ó Kyle asked.
Ò ItÕs a nice ferb. His nameÕs Yermain,Ó Opla replied.
Tyler and Rick came out and said, Ò Oh...Ó

Ò We need the crystal inside the ferb, I mean, Yermain,Ó Kyle told Opla.
Ò I donÕt know how he ate a crystal. But, I donÕt know how to get it out, either.Ó
Ò Maybe, we can blow it up,Ó Rick said.
YermainÕs eyes widened and ran for the corner.
Ò No! WeÕre not going to kill, Yermain. HeÕs a nice ferb,Ó Sammy said.
Tyler said, Ò Um...maybe, we can shrink ourselves. Then, go inside Yermain, and get it!Ó
Sammy said, Ò Well, thatÕs a plan.Ó
Ò IÕm not shrinking myself,Ó Kyle said, Ò ThatÕs it!Ó
Ò What?,Ó they asked.
Ò He ate it, right? So, he must have a digestive system,Ó Kyle said, Ò And wait until he goes, you know.Ó
Ò And we reach in his poop and get the crystal?,Ó Rick asked.
Kyle nodded.
Ò Okay. LetÕs wait until he poops.Ó

When, Yermain, went...they looked at the pile.
Ò Um...you get it,Ó Sammy said pushing Rick forward.
Ò Me? Why me?,Ó he asked.
Ò Because youÕre the oldest,Ó Kyle said.
Tyler came out with some gloves and a bucket.
Ò Here, Rick. When youÕre done, wash the crystal, in the bucket.Ó
Rick groaned and put on the gloves. He reached in and looked for the crystal.
Ò ItÕs not here,Ó he said.
Ò It has to be!,Ó Tyler said.
Rick looked again and pulled out something.
Ò ItÕs only a rock!,Ó Sammy cried.
Tyler put the tracking device on the rock.

Ò Not so. ItÕs the crystal alright,Ó he said.
Ò Then, why isnÕt it rainbow colored?,Ó Sammy asked.
Tyler took it and threw it on the floor.
The rock cracked open. And inside revealing a beautiful rainbow colored jewel.
Ò Hey! Smart, kid,Ó Sammy said picking it up.

They went back to their space ship.
Ò Well, we found one crystal. Where to now?,Ó Sammy asked Kyle.
Kyle said, Ò The Planet Of Sandstorms. In galaxy of the Sand worms.Ó
Ò Ew! Sand worms,Ó Rick said, Ò I hate worms.Ó

They arrived in the galaxy in 2 days.
Ò Sammy,Ó Kyle said, Ò Go and get our sand gear.Ó
Sammy nodded and got some suits.
Ò The sand there is very dangerous. The winds are high powered and really dangerous. Plus, there are sand worms,Ó Kyle warned everyone.
Ò Becareful, team,Ó Kyle said.

Soon, they were in the planet.
Ò I canÕt see a thing!,Ó Sammy cried.
Ò Me, too!,Ó Tyler cried.
Kyle cried, Ò Turn on your trackers in your suits!Ó
Sammy turned it on and said, Ò Hey! I could see a little blinking light! Is that a crystal?Ó
Kyle said, Ò Yes! LetÕs go, team!Ó

Tyler followed the blinking light.
Ò Hey, guys! ItÕs right here!,Ó Rick cried.
Suddenly, Tyler fell.
Ò Help! IÕm falling!,Ó he cried.
Kyle tried to run to Tyler. But, he couldnÕt. The wind was pulling him back.
Sammy said, Ò Tyler! Hold on! IÕm coming!Ó
But, she was walking the wrong way. The sand was blocking her vision.
Ò Guys! I donÕt know where I am!,Ó she cried.
Kyle soon, felt himself growing shorter. Then, he realized he was falling, too.

Ò Help! IÕm falling, too!,Ó he cried.
Suddenly, Sammy, screamed.
Ò SomethingÕs got me!,Ó she said, Ò ItÕs pulling me down!Ó
Ò No! YouÕre just falling,Ó Kyle cried.
Rick said something in Spanish and cried, Ò Help!Ó
They all slipped and fell...

Kyle awoke in darkness. He rubbed his head and said, Ò Guys?Ó
He looked next to him. A few feet away was Rick.
Ò Hey, Rick!,Ó he cried, Ò Get up.Ó
Rick was still unconscious.
Kyle looked around. All the way near a rock was Tyler.
Ò Tyler?,Ó he asked, Ò Are you alright?Ó
Tyler was awake and said, Ò My head. It hurts!Ó
Ò Mine, too. WhereÕs Sam?,Ó he asked.
Rick awoke and said, Ò That was a head rush, right? I was just dreaming?Ó
Ò No. SammyÕs missing!,Ó Tyler cried, Ò Again.Ó
Rick looked around and said, Ò SheÕs not missing. SheÕs right there.Ó
They looked behind a rock. And Sammy was eating something that was turning over a fire.

She looked up and said, Ò Hey, you guys are awake. Thought youÕd never wake up.Ó
Tyler didnÕt even think twice. He quickly sat next to Sammy and started to eat.
Rick asked, Ò What is that stuff?Ó
Ò I found it like this when we fell. I was so hungry. So, I started to eat this stuff,Ó Sammy said.
Tyler agreed, Ò This stuff tastes so good.Ó
Ò Let me try,Ó Kyle said and reached out for some.
He ate it and nodded.
Ò Yeah. It does. Why donÕt you try, Rick?,Ó he said handing him some.
Rick shook his head.
Ò Sorry, guys. I never eat anything until I know what it is,Ó he said.
Ò Suit yourself,Ó Sammy said.

Rick sat down on a corner and started to think back. Kyle looked at him and went to him.
Ò WhatÕs wrong, Rick?,Ó he asked.
Ò Nothing,Ó he said with tears streaming down his face.
Ò That doesnÕt look like nothing to me,Ó Kyle said patting him on the back,
Ò So, can you tell me the problem now?Ó

Rick nodded.
Ò Okay. But, this is between you and me. My mom died of cancer when I was very little. And my dad got another woman whoÕs name is Angela. They got married. And I donÕt like her. SheÕs trying to take the place of my mom. If only my grandpa had lived a little longer. Then, she couldÕve lived longer, too. Now, I realize IÕm just like my grandpa. Doing something before thinking. I didnÕt even think that maybe, something will happen and IÕll end up like mom,Ó he said holding back his tears.
Ò DonÕt cry. ItÕs true something might happen. WeÕre here not against our will. If we donÕt do something, itÕs true we will save 4 lives. But, we all know that if we risk 4 lives we can save billions. YouÕre grandpa knew what he was doing. He mightÕve been thinking the same thing youÕre doing now. But, he knew what was going to happen. And he was a very brave man,Ó Kyle said smiling, Ò DonÕt be hateful of him. Be proud. He saved your life. And he saved your momÕs. If it werenÕt for him and his team, your mom might not have lived a few years longer. Think about that,Ó Kyle said and he left to sit next to the fire.

Rick thought about what Kyle had said. Kyle did make sense. Sammy got up and said, Ò Hey, Rick! Get over here! Eat something. We know youÕre hungry.Ó
Rick stood up and with a smile on his face.

Ò So, weÕre stuck?,Ó Tyler asked.
Kyle said, Ò I think thereÕs a way out of here.Ó
Ò But, then weÕll be stuck up in the sandstorm, again!,Ó Rick said.
Tyler pulled out his tracking device.
Ò The crystalÕs still up there,Ó he said.

Suddenly, Sammy, cried, Ò Oh, my god! Tyler watch out!Ó
Tyler turned around to see a person aiming a big rock at him. His eyes widened and he ran to Sammy.
Rick said, Ò We come in peace.Ó
Ò DonÕt you think thatÕs kinda old?,Ó Sammy asked.
He shrugged.
Ò You come in peace and you eat my food?,Ó the man asked.
Kyle looked at Sammy.
Ò Hey! How am I supposed to know? I was hungry,Ó she said.
The man looked like he was stuck here for a long time. He had a very long beard and most of his hair had turned gray.

Ò Who are you?,Ó Rick asked.
The man picked something up as if he was using it for defense and asked, Ò Who are you?Ó
Ò WeÕre on a mission. To find the Crystals of Albratir. We donÕt want to hurt you. We were just hungry. WeÕre sorry, if we caused you any trouble,Ó Kyle replied.
Ò You know what you ate?,Ó he asked.
We shook our heads.
Ò What is the only living thing in this planet except you kids?,Ó he asked.
Ò You and the...,Ó Rick said as he threw up.
Ò Ew! We ate sandworms! Ew!,Ó Sammy cried.

The man said, Ò My name is London James.Ó
Tyler almost choked at that name.
Ò The most dangerous murderer on Earth?,Ó Tyler said as his voice cracked.
He nodded slightly.
KyleÕs mouth dropped open.
Ò But, but you died in that huge explosion on the space craft taking you to Saturn,Ó Kyle said, Ò You caused it. You were right in the middle of it.Ó
Ò Kyle! No one ever found his body! You escaped in the space pod, didnÕt you?,Ó Sammy cried.
London nodded.

Ò Are you going to kill us?,Ó Sammy asked.
Ò Well, you ate my food,Ó he said, Ò I guess I should.Ó
Ò Run!!!!,Ó Rick cried.
The four ran into a cave.

Ò I think we lost him,Ó Tyler said.
Ò Come on kids. I wonÕt hurt you. I promise, ha,Ó London said.
Kyle led the team to another cave.
When they go to the end of it, it was a dead end.
Ò No where to go, again,Ó Sammy said.

Tyler whispered, Ò Guys! The crystal!Ó
It was stuck in a wall. Then, they heard loud footsteps.
Ò Quick, get it!,Ó Sammy said.
Tyler pulled it out and put into his pockets.

Ò Kids! I see you!,Ó London said laughing.
Rick turned around and he was right in front of them.
Ò AH!,Ó they screamed.
London took a huge rock.
Sammy spotted a something sticking out from the top of some rocks. It must be a root of some tree that can live here, Sammy thought.
She grabbed the root and pulled herself up.
Then, she swung her legs at London.
London fell.

Kyle quickly jump on London.
Sammy watched as the two wrestled.
Then, Tyler jumped in. Rick followed. At the end the three guys had London unconscious.

Ò CÕmon team, letÕs get out of here,Ó Kyle said.
They followed him to an opening.
They put on their head gear and left.

Ò Where did you learn to do that?,Ó Kyle asked Sammy.
Ò You didnÕt think I could get away from some bullies by running, did you?,Ó she said smiling.
Tyler gave Sammy a high five. Then, he hugged her.
Ò Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!,Ó he said.
Rick just said, Ò Hey, thanks. Remind me that you have to teach me that.Ó

The team ate a very big meal for dinner.
Ò The next crystal is in Aquasolt. A very very small water planet. ItÕs all water. Nothing bad lives down there. Just some fish,Ó the computer said.
They put on their water suits and went to find the crystal. It took them only an hour.

The next planet to go to was Mars. The last planet, theyÕll have to go to.
Ò Hey, guys!,Ó Sammy said, Ò I found it!Ó
Tyler studied it and said, Ò ThatÕs not right. It says the crystal is over on there.Ó
He pointed to a huge crater.
Ò No. There must be something wrong with it,Ó Rick said, Ò This is the crystal.Ó
Tyler picked up the crystal and put it in his pocket.

Before they left, Sammy went to the crater. She took out her tracking device and looked around. She picked up the rock, that the device said it was.
Ò Just for safety purposes,Ó she said to herself.

The team went towards the black hole.
Ò Alright, team! Throw them in!,Ó Kyle cried.
They threw the crystals in.
Ò How come it wonÕt close?,Ó Tyler cried.
Ò Maybe, one isnÕt a crystal!,Ó Rick cried.
Ò Oh, no!,Ó Kyle cried.
Ò The ships getting closer to the black hole! WeÕll be sucked in!,Ó Tyler cried, Ò I canÕt steer it away. The force is to powerful!Ó

Sammy pulled out the rock she had found.
Ò Wish me luck, guys!,Ó she cried.
She threw the rock into the black hole.
Then, as quickly it closed.
But, the ship had already gotten too close. The front part of it was sucked in, too.
Luckily, Tyler made it to the back.
Ò Quickly! Get the oxygen tanks!,Ó Rick cried.
Each took an oxygen tank and put it on, before the front of the space craft was sucked in.
Ò Overload. Overload. Destruct in 2 minutes, counting down,Ó the computer said before it shut down.

Tyler and Kyle opened the door to the space pod.
Ò Get in!,Ó he cried.
The two jumped in and Rick and Sammy followed.
Ò 5-4-3...Ó
Tyler turned it on.
Ò 1...Ó

The spaceship blew up.
And not so far away was a space pod.
Ò We made it! We made it!,Ó Sammy cried.
Ò Not so...,Ó Tyler said, Ò This space pod has low energy. We have to turn off the heat shield so it will have enough energy to land on Earth.Ó
Ò Whatever it takes, Tyler,Ó Kyle said.
Ò But, weÕll also be risking our lives,Ó Tyler said, Ò Without the heat shield the atmosphere on Earth will burn this thing like charcoal.Ó

Sammy stood up.
Ò No matter what happens, weÕll always be a team. And this team is going to make it back home!Ó
Ò Yeah! I agree! CÕmon, letÕs go home!,Ó Rick said.

The scientist sat sadly at their chairs.
Ò What happened?,Ó the president asked.
Ò They managed to close up the hole,Ó one of them said.
Ò ThatÕs good.Ó
Ò But, theyÕre space craft blew up when it closed. It got too close. WeÕve lost contact,Ó another one said.

SammyÕs mother cried, Ò NO! My daughter...is she alright?Ó
Ò ItÕs a very little chance that anyone made it out of there,Ó a general replied.
All of the parents started to cry.
Ò They couldnÕt have died!,Ó KyleÕs mother cried.
Ò Oh, Tyler,Ó his grandmother said.
But, she wasnÕt crying. She knew that he had died because of his bravery.
RickÕs father and Angela cried.

At 1 AM.
Each one of the parents or guardians got a call.
Ò We have spotted a space pod. It looks like the one we had made for the spaceship, your children were in. It just might be them,Ó a scientist said.

At 1:30 AM.
Everyone watched as the space pod landed in the ocean.
They waited a while. When they saw nothing, they thought the team was dead.
Suddenly, Kyle opened the space pod. Smoke came out and he coughed a little and gave a thumbs up.

Everyone cheered and they lived happily ever after.
