"I belong to my dog"
by
Amy

I
belong o quite a few clubs and groups,
I find some of them are quite fun,
But really I belong to my dog,
Who likes to sunbath in the sun,

He's made a friend,
I've named him Spot,
I see him everyday,
Spots a bit like Otis,
In his funny sort of way,
I've done everything with Otis,
And of course forever will,
And for all his foods and visits to the vets,
I've 'offered' to pay the bill,
The other day I took Otis into his favorite spot,
It's a preety little place and I know another Spot,
Yes you know who! Whatshall I do?
They just won't leave each other alone!
(So just to keep them quiet I bought them each a little bone!)
Anyway, this other Spot,
Well he was there and he was waiting,
He was waiting like a painting,
Very still and very quiet,
But as soon as he saw Otis,
He threw himself into a riot!
So they had a chat and we went home,
And I gave Otis a miniature bone!
The story i've just told you,
I hope will help you see,
That we're bestest friends,
Otis and me,
I feel safe when i'm around him,
And never feel dim,
I love otis and he loves me,
So at last I hope that'll help you see that:

I belong to quite a few clubs and groups,
I find some of them are quite fun,
But really I belong to my dog,
Who likes to sunbath in the sun
