long time ago , birds were dull grey. The bird God, Dislart, said

''This is not right. What we need is some color''.

So he took a macaw and

''What color would you like to be?''.

''The colors of the rainbow'',she said.

Dislart dipped the macaw in a magical bucket of paint. She came out and was so beautiful all the other macaws did it.

The tucan wanted to be black with a bright beak. Dislart did the same thing for tucan.

All the other birds wanted different colors, and it took 3 years to be compleated. But for pigeons, there was no more paint. So they remian a dull color.
