H
urrah! Hurrah!" Everyone was cheering and clapping.

Titanic was a huge ship; it was very fast and strong. It was the biggest ship in the world. The Titanic had all the latest inventions. Everyone was happy.

At Southampton lots of passengers got on the board. Timmy was with his parents. Timmy was excited. Everyone was busy and excited too. Timmy was going to visit his aunt and uncle in New York. Their cabins were comfortable.

Captain Smith was in charge of the Titanic. The Titanic and the crew were all ready for the journey.
"Hello, Timmy!" said Captain Smith.
"Hello Captain Smith!"
"Welcome to Titanic!" said Captain Smith.

The sky was blue and bright. Titanic moved into the deep water, and set off for France. All the passengers were having a wonderful time. Timmy sat in his room and watched through the window. He thought it was wonderful out there. He felt like a prince.

In the evening, He was getting tired but happy.

After five days, the weather got colder. The Titanic hit an iceberg just before midnight. The ship collided with the huge mountain and it shook very strongly. Timmy was getting scared. He left the room with his mother and father.
"Don't worry!" shouted Captain Smith. "Get into the lifeboats! Women and children first!"

Timmy held his mother's hands tightly. He was frightened.
"But what about daddy?" asked Timmy. "We can't leave him."
"Don't worry," said mother. "We will see him soon."

They boarded one of the big lifeboats. The ship's band played music on the deck. The lifeboat with Timmy and his mother moved away from Titanic. They watched as the huge ship sank slowly into the dark water.

After three hours the cold water covered the ship. The Titanic sank into the deep sea. Timmy and his mother arrived New York three days later.

Timmy cried as his father had died. But her aunt and uncle were so glad to see them.

Timmy told them all the things and Titanic. Mary stayed in America with her cousins. She grew up and got married. But she never forgot the terrible night the Titanic sank.
