aura was walking down a path, when suddenly a big dog jumped up on her,"Ew! Get off of me ya big mutt!". Laura shouted. Just then a woman came up, "Hewo, Betoven! Is this mean girl bottering you? Come on let's go inside and get a snackey-poo!" and with that, they left. Laura went inside to her Aunt's house, and got some popcorn out of the cuboard, then she placed it into the microwave, and turned on her Aunt's computer. BOOM! The microwave blew a fuse, "Oh, drat! Oh no," all of a sudden the computer shut off. "How am I going to survive this summer, with no microwave, no computer, no cable, and no mall?" Laura was steeming. Okay, I am going to tell you how she got into this mess, and a few facts about her Aunt. Well, first of all Laura lived in New York, with her mom and dad. Her mom had gotten called of for a business trip in London, and her dad had to go to Chicago. They had dropped her off with her dad's sister somewhere in Georgia. She had a pen-pal that she wrote all the time, and it had turned out that her pen'pal lived in the same town that her Aunt did, that was where she had been. She had asked her friend what people did for fun around there, her friend said that fun had gone out with bellbottoms. Her Aunt had called her home to get a few things in town. She called for her Aunt, figured she wasn't home, and made a list, "Hmm, lets see. I think I'll get..." she was cut off by a screeching sound, "Yoo-hoo! Is anybody home? Janice? Are you home dear?", her Aunt's next door neighbor popped in. Laura thought 'Don't you people knock?', "Come on Janice I know you're in there!" just then Laura's Aunt came down the attic stairs wearing love beads, a tie-dye shirt, and bellbottoms, Laura thought 'I guess my friend was wrong, fun must have gone out with something else' her Aunt's neighbor started talking again, "Oh, there you are Janice! I brought over some of my famous butterscotch fudge! I know how much you love my fudge! When I was making this, I came upon, well discovered a recipe for mint butterscotch fudge! Doesn't that sound delicious? Well I made a batch of it, and I will bring it over first thing tomorrow. Well, not first thing I'll have to get up, get dressed, eat, get my hair done, and that sort of stuff, but I will be over here tomorrow morning! I'll see you first thing, well not first thing reall..." and with that she, "Janice what are you wearing? Oh, well I guess I'll find out tomorrow." and with THAT she left. "What did you want me to get? I have a list," Laura said, "Some memory for the computer, a new microwave." She was going to say duck tape for the neighbor's mouth, but she thought better. "Get what ever you want, but make sure to get duck tape," her Aunt said,"I've run out of it, and it is very important. Whenever my neighbor talks to much, I wave it in front of her face, and she stops." Laura smiled. Her Aunt gave her the box of fudge, "Here, put this in the fridge, the cuboard, the trash, I don't care. I really don't like the stuff, but I don't want to hurt her feelings. Oh, and tomorrow, when we get her mint fudge, just get rid of it."
