ne sunny day, Nathan went outside to play with his friends.Danny deer, Bunky bear and Sammy squirrel met Nathan in the forest to play Hid-n-go seek. Danny deer began to count. "1, 2, 3, 4, ..." Nathan hid behind the blackberry bush, Sammy hid in his oak tree, and Bunky hid behind the big rock down by the pond where Gordy goldfish lived. Danny said," Ready or not here I come!" Danny looked for Bunky first. He found Bunky not behind the big rock but swimming in the pond with Gordy. "I'm going to jump in and tag you!" said Danny deer. He tagged Bunky. Next Danny looked for Nathan. Danny found Nathan picking and eating blackberries. Nathan was so busy eating blackberries he didn't even see Danny. "Got you!" said Danny. Finally, Danny looked for Sammy Squirrell and he found Sammy up in the tree. Sammy knocked a nut off the tree andit landed on Danny,s head. "Ow!" said Danny. Sammy laughed and came down. Danny tagged him too. It was time for Nathan to go home. He said goodbye to his friends. "I'll see you tomorrow!" said Nathan and he went home for supper.
