oey was sad. Why would't he be?His Dad just died, and his mother left him when he was 3 years old. Now he has to live with his Aunt and Uncle, who treat him like an old dog. Joey doesn't think they even love him. One day, he snuck downstairs, and took the newspaper from tha table. It was from 8 years ago! He read the cover story:WOMAN DIES IN CAR ACCIDENT;LEAVING HUSBAND AND 3 YEAR OLD SON. Then there was a picture of the woman. Joey thought he recognized her. He looked closer, and there was proof. That woman was his mother! He went for a walk, trying to take it all in. His mother and father were dead. Now what? Joey was so deep in thoughts, that he didn't see the car. The car that ran him over. Joey woke up in a hospital, getting rushed to surgery. He was getting dreamy, and could see everything. He saw the doctors, lost in how to help him, he saw his Aunt and Uncle, not knowing and not caring about where he went. But most of all, he saw clouds. The clouds that were taking him to his family. That night, a boy who had no ID died, but got more happieness than he would have gotton if he were alive.He got Loved.
