t was about 2 o'clock in the afternoon.Ravi hummed to himself as he walked home from school.He was in a happy mood indeed.His teacher had just praised him for being a helpful and caring boy.

As he was walking past a row of houses,Ravi saw a little baby crawling out of the open gate of one of the houses onto the road.He looked at the baby in the suprise.Suddenly Ravi heard the sound of a car coming from opposite direction.He knew that if he did not act quickly,the car would hit the baby.

Without wasting a second,he dashed forward and grabbed the baby just in time. Ravi heaved a sigh of realief as the car passed.The baby was now safe in his arm but it started to cry.Just then the baby's mother walked out of the house looking shocked.
