Heather's "Trisha's Hike"

Once there was a little girl named Trisha. She lived in a small town and there were no kids her age to play with. Trisha was all alone.

One day Trisha went outside and looked up at the

inside. Then she set off.

Trisha had been hiking for a long time when she came to a big clearing. She took her blanket out of her backpack and put it on the ground. She sat on the blanket and took out the

. Trisha ate all her

and drank some of the water in her

. She put the half empty

back into her backpack. She laid down on the blanket and took a nap.

When she woke up there was a

sitting on the blanket next to her.

"Ahh!" yelled Trisha, because she didn't like

Then Trisha looked closer at the

. It wasn't moving. Trisha gave it some crumbs from her

buns. The

ate them and flew away. Trisha decided she wasn't scared of

s anymore. They didn't hurt her.

Trisha started hiking back towards her house. She saw some pretty

and picked some for her mother. She hurried home and gave her mother the

. Her mother loved them.

Trisha did not feel alone anymore. Now nature was her friend.
