Susan's "THE DRAGON fLY AND THE SHEILD"

On a hot summer day near a pond, there lived a

, that loved to explore. He would explore the trees, pond, and most of all the hollow fallen tree trunks.

That day the

was so hungry he fainted, but after he woke up he flew right out the door of his

. He looked in the

, and he looked behind a pile of

, but when he looked behind a pile of

he saw a shiny golden

, but he didn't know what to do, it was too heavy to carry. So he just flew away and looked for food.

After eating, he had the idea to get all of his friends together and carry it to the

. So that moment, he flew to get his friends. But by the time they all got there, it was gone, so everyone left.

But then he flew to go look for it, but there it was being used in a cabin on the shore with some kids playing swords with it.

So the

flew back to the

and sleept for the day. Cause he was too tired to go play with his friends near the pond.
