Gina's "Friendship"

Julie wants to be cool more than anything. She'll buy clothes
that she absoutly hates just to be cool.
Yesterday, she bought a , a , and
a pair of pink . She put everything on and looked in the
.
She hated the way she looked. But, if that's what it would take
to be cool, she'd wear it.
Her best friend, Emily, was kind of a geek. They became
best friends because back then, Julie was a geek too. Now that
Julie was getting cool, Emily was feeling left out.
One day, Julie was talking with her friends, in the hall
when she noticed Emily was being picked on. Julie was wearing
her new Sophisticates jacket. She was so cool, she had been accepted
into the Sophisticates. Julie said, "Hold on.Gotta go
help my friend" The other friends said "But Julie,
you can't be friends with her! You're a Sophisticate now."
"But she's my friend" Julie answered. "Well
honey," the eldest member said, "It's us, or her. Take
your pick Sweetheart, cuz 'ya can't have both."
Julie thought. Emily had been her best friend since they
were in the sandbox. "Her." She said proudly. "WHAT!?"
The other girls cried. "Her. H-E-R, her."
Julie ripped off the new jacket and threw it to the ground.
She had made her choice.
