i, I'm Riley. I'm 8 1/2. I go to William's Lake public school. There are two kids, Freddy and Jake who are best friends. One day their friendship almost ended.It all started on Monday the 15th. A new kid moved in. He was a real bully. He stole lunch money, he was that kind of bully. Since Jake and Freddy were best friends they told each other their locker codes. One day there was a Science Fair. Whoever won would get a Tyco Ric Tantrum. Jake heard about it and started his project early. The next day he was done. His project was about Volcanos. He put it in his locker, but the new kid put a little piece of wood in the locker so it wouldn't close. He stole Jake's project and used it to win the Science Fair. When Jake looked back in his locker, it was gone! He knew who to blame. "Freddy! Why did you do it?" "I didn't do it, honest," said Freddy. "Yea, right! You are the only one who knows my locker number," said Jake. "I know, but I didn't do it," Freddy said. "Sure," said Jake, "I'm never going to talk to you again." "Well that's just fine," said Freddy. They weren't friends for two weeks, but on the third week they just couldn't stand it. They had no one to play with and no one would help them with their home work. Jake ran as fast as he could to Freddy's house and rang the door bell. Freddy opened the door. Jake said, "hi Freddy." "Hi Jake," Freddy said back. They both said, "I just wanted to say...". "You go first," Freddy said. Jake said, "Freddy, I just wanted to say sorry for calling you names and saying that you stole my Science Project." "You took the words right out of my mouth," said Freddy. When Jake got home the new kid's parents were standing at the door. Jake said, "hello, what brings you here?" "Ummm, you see, my son stole your project to win the contest. This is your Tyco Ric Tantrum," said the parents. When they left, Jake almost fainted bacause of all the things that were caused by the rotten new kid. He looked up at the sky and said, "there really is magic in friendship!"
