"MAKING FRIENDS WITH LIONS"by
Alex

ne morning at 8:00 A.M. while riding the schoolbus, the children heard a roar. They looked out the window and saw a lion with black stripes and round, yellow eyes.
The lion used it's claws to break into the school bus window. He leaped over the seat where I was sitting and growled at me.
I said, "I won't hurt you!".
So we played Twenty Questions. Now I was the only person who had a pet lion.
The next day, I went to the bus stop with my lion.
He got sad because he missed his mom and family.
So I said, "Go get them and bring them here".
"OK", said the lion.
Five minutes later I heard 20, 30, 40, maybe l00 lions coming! My friends Victoria, John, Alexa, and Robert petted them. I brought all of them to school.
My teacher ran around screaming, "Help! Help!".
It was almost time to go home. I rode the bus home. When I got home, I fed my lions. I got a large pot and put food into it.
It was so much fun.
Two hours later I went to bed. One of my lions snuggled in bed with me, too.
Four days later we went to the rainforest. The lions got to meet all of their friends.
When I got home, I could not find Stripes. One lion came up to me and said,
"Stripes is having babies!".
I got 10 more baby lions. Each lion had no fur on his head and two yellow eyes. They also couldn't see because every lion can't see when they are first born.
Everyday at Gym class, we took fun lion rides.
When we went home, we played Monsters Under the Rug and every lion had fun.
