nce a upon a time, there was a little dog named Buddy. Buddy knew how to play basketball and how to keep score. He was the mascot for the Leewood basketball team, the Heat.The Heat played their first game against the Bulls. The first team to score 2 points was the Heat. Buddy barked two times. The next team to score 2 points was the Bulls and Buddy growled 2 times. The Heat came back and scored 2 more times scoring 4 more points. Buddy barked 6 times. 20 minutes later it was half time and the Heat had scored 6 more points and the Bulls had scored 4 more points. The total score for the game was 12 to 6 and the Heat was in the lead. Buddy was on his 12th bark and had run onto the courts. He grabbed the basketball between his two front paws and threw it up into the air and it missed the basket by an inch. Everyone laughed and clapped. After halftime, the Heat scored 10 more points and the Bulls scored 16 more points. The game was tied! Buddy was busy barking and growling 22 times each. There was five minutes left for the game to finish. The Heat got another basket giving them 24 points with 1 minute left to play. Buddy was still barking 24 times when the buzzer went off and the game was over. The Heat beat the Bulls by 2 points. Buddy was so excited that he ran out onto the court, grabbed the basketball between his two front paws and threw it up into the air. This time, the ball landed in the basket! Buddy is the best basketball player and scorekeeper ever!
