he name of the book is " Martin the Warrior". It's story characters are animals that talk like us. The main character is a mouse called Martin, slaved with Felldoh the squirrel, Brome another mouse, and lots of other animals ever since the evil stoat, Badrang, and his evil army of rats, stoats, and weasels captured them.To make a long story short, Brome's sister ,Rose and a faithful friend and mole, Grumm went after him and they met escaped Martin, Felldoh, and Brome . They made a plan to go to Rose, Grumm, and Brome's home village, Noonvale, and gather up a army to defeat Badrang, just as sea rats invaded. They eventually escaped but got separated into two bands. Felldoh and Brome met the Rollicking some-name-I-forgot and stayed and with the help of the band they fought. But the rest of the journey-goers still went on their journey to Noonvale and made a band of four when a hedgehog called Pallum meets up with them. They meet, fight, and make friends with the animals they meet on their journey and finally arrive at Noonvale. But they can only make a small army there, but suddenly the animals they meet come to their help and gets up together to make a big army. And they defeat and kill Badrang. But there are other good side animals that died, like Felldoh, Rose, and lots of others. Oh! I almost forgot. There's another important reason why Martin hated Badrang so much, but the reason.
