C
atherine couldn't indentify the fingerprints, but they were defiantly there. She picked up the phone and dialed Jack's number. *I hope he's their* she thought.

Jack's House....

Jack picked up the ringing phone.
"Hello, who is this?" he asked.
"Oh, hi Catherine. What about the fingerprint's?" he asked her, scratching his head.
"Well, I don't know who's they are, but they have a odd shape to them." she answered.
"Hmm...Maybe we should go down to his house. I'll call Dave." he said.
"Maybe you should see them first before going to his house." Catherine told him.
"No I'm going to look for more clues at his house first," he responded. "bye." he hung up the phone.

Starbuck's House....

Dave was their and so was Margaret Wilson, a reporter, and Police Officer Andrew.
"Well, Dave I haven't found a clue. Whoever kidnapped Starbuck's did a good job of covering it up." Andrew told Dave, shaking his head.

Just as the two men were talking a sandy-blond haired Jack and blond-haired Johnny came up to them.
"Hello Officer," Jack nodded his head at Andrew. "hello Dave." he finished.
"Hi, Jack." Dave and Andrew responded at the same time.
"Any new clues?" Johnny asked.
"None." Dave answered.
"Is Catherine coming?" asked Johnny.
"Yes, she told me she would meet me here." Jack responded.

Just as Jack's words left his lips, a yellow taxi pulled up.
"There she is now." Andrew said.
Andrew walked up to greet the black-haired woman. To Andrew it looked like her brown eyes always sparkled.
"Hello, Catherine." he said to her, as he helped her out of the car. Jack watched intently, his lips tightened.
*How dare he! He's just showing off!* he thought.
Jack watched Catherine as she greeted the other men.
"Hello, Jack." she told him.
Jack's nasty look, disapeared and turned into a smile, when she told him hello.
"Hi, Catherine." he responded, looking into Catherine's beautiful eyes.
Jack then saw Andrew give him a nasty glare out of the corner of his eyes.

"I'm going to look inside for some more clues. Maybe there's some hidden under some debris," she said. "anyone wanna come with me?" she finished.
"I will." Jack responded, stepping up.

Jack helped Catherine step over some of the debris. Andrew shot another nasty glare at Jack, only this one he didn't see.

It was VERY dark inside the building, and trash was all over the place. Catherine lifted up a wooden box and looked inside, what she pulled out surprised her. It was a note, not just any note, a death note.
"Jack, come here for a minute." she said, calling him.
"What?" he said, coming over to her.
"Look at this." she told him, handing Jack the note.
"A death note?" he responded, reading it over again.
"What's it say?" Catherine asked him.
"Starbucks, give me your project you were making, or else!" Jack read the note out-loud. Catherine and Jack looked at each other.
"What project?" Jack asked Cathrine, tucking the note in his pants pocket.
"As a matter of fact I do remember him telling me about some project, but what it was has slipped my mind." she answered.
"I guess that's all the clues we will be able to find for right now," Jack said. "come on, let's go home. We can come back tomorrow and look for more clues." he finished.

Part 3 coming soon!
