The End Of the World. Well, that's what it felt like at least.Hi. My name's Kelly. I just made the cheerleading squad. I know, I know, why am I complaining, right. It's every girl's dream to become a cheerleader. But that's not the Way it seemed. You see, my friend, Jessie, dared me to try out for the squad. i told her know way, but then she gave me five bucks. Now I'm just one of those people that can't refuse money. So I said, "okay. I probably won't make it anyway." So I tried out. And i made it. And Jessie didn't. Now she's all mad at me. It's not my fault I made the cheerleading squad. I never thought I would. I mean, i'm one of those short, clumsy people, and I'm not all that popular. Now I'm stuck with the privelige of cheering basketball games. Oh yah. The idea of cheering for sweaty, hot pigs wasn't my kind of idea of fun. Oh well. I'm at practice know, and not enjoying it. I'm on top of a pyramid, and I'm just about to- "Ouch!" fall, as If you don't know already. I stood up as my couch said, "Come on girls! Work together! Let's Try it again!" I stood up and huffed over to my place. I was fed up. After the game tomorow, I was gonna give up and quit the squad. "Come on, Kel. You can do it." Missy encoraged me. The next day, was Tuesday. After school, I went home to change into my uniform. After putting my hair up and my skirt on, I looked at myself for the first time. I couldn't believe it, I looked good. Even.....pretty. That was just to much. I decided then and there that I had definetely gone insane. But at the game, when I was up in an elevator, I sw everything different. I was in the spotlight. Everyone was staring at me. And when I got down, everyone on the squad looked at me and smiled. And that's when I found out, that maybe I did want to be a cheerleader, and things might turn out great, after all.
