"Someday I'm going to be an astronaut"
by
Taylor

S
omeday I'm going to be an astronaut, and il'l go places unimaginable, maybe a mission to Mars, Venus, or maybe even Jupiter!

But way before that, Il'l have to have training. Il'l have to get shots. Painful!

Then Il'l do all sorts of stuff on simulators, and then it will be launch day. Il'l have to sit upside down andthen blastoff!

If I land on Mars or Venus, Il'l set the American Flag in the soil, and then we take things for experiments and we board our space ship and come back home! Mission Control guides us home. If there's a big problem, we can't come home.

How astronauts eat
Astronauts eat packaged food. About all of the astronauts eat the same thing, in case it floats in space. Astronauts eat simple things like mashed potatoes, because it wouldn't be simple to eat a Porterhouse Steak in space, would it?

How astronauts sleep
Astronauts sleep in a special mechanical bag standing up. They wear a night mask, too, because of the bright lights in the spaceship.

How astronauts go to the bathroom
Astronauts can go to the bathroom by a special hose that connects to the toilet. And from there , the waste goes into space. Space Waste!

Training
Astronaut training is difficult. You have to get shots, take tests, and do stuff like that.

Past Space Projects
This is a list of events that happened in the past.
1960'S Projects Mercury -Gemini
1960'S-70'S Projects Apollo- Skylab
1970's- 80's Projects Skylab- Space Shuttle

Well, it's about time to say farewell, so I hope you can continue to learn about space, and maybe some of you will become astronauts. Farewell!

The End
