n the summer of 1997 I went to Hawaii with my grandfather to meet my uncle Paul and ride on the aircraft carrier U.S.S. ESSEX.It was a long jourey with lots of navy food. We got to shoot the guns which was really cool. For a eight year old kid it was very exciting to learn about how a naval ship operates
