t was a warm sunny day and Private Investagator, Jack Branson was resting in his office when all the sudden the phone started ringing. He picked up the phone."Hello?" he said into the phone. "A missing Professor?" he said curiously, leaning forward. "Professor Billy Starbucks? But why would someone kidnap him!" he finished. The person he was talking to was the beautiful dark-haired detective, Catherine Elena McLellan. "I don't know why someone would kidnap sweet Mr. Starbucks. All I know is that he's been missing since 5:00 AM today. I couldn't find any trace of breaking and entering." she told Jack. "Where are you at?" Jack asked her. "At his apartment on 3434 Sunny Lane." she answered back "Meet you their in five minutes." he said. He hung up the phone and grabbed his coat. He rushed out of the 3 story building, and out to his 1933 blue Woody. At the Professor's house... When Jack arrived, Johnny Canon, the well-known con-artist was watching as Catherine was searching for clues. Even though Johnny was a con-artist, Jack knew him, and he knew Johnny wouldn't have kidnapped Mr. Starbucks. "Did you find anything?" Jack asked Catherine, coming up behind her. "Well, I did find his pocket watch, but nothing else," she told Jack. "but I am going to the headquarters to look at the fingerprint's to see if we can find out who kidnapped Billy Starbucks." she said, walking over to the side of the curb. She got in her car and drove away to the headquarters. Jack looked at Johnny. "Johnny, did you find anything?" Jack asked looking at the man's red outfit with gray stripes, Johnny also had on brown shoes. "Not a trace." Johnny said, rubbing his foot in the dirt. Johnny cocked his hat and walked to his nice car. "I'll let you know if I find anything." Johnny called out the window as his driver drove away. Jack walked over to Dave Walker, his boss. "Hey, Dave. Did you find anything?" he asked. "Nothing. I suspect Johnny and his friends are behind this. Johnny never liked Mr. Starbucks." he responded. "But Johnny wouldn't do that! I know Johnny, and I know he wouldn't do that!" Jack responded. "I'm going to question him in the morning." Dave told Jack. Jack grabbed Dave's arm. "I'm telling you he didn't do it! Don't you believe me?" Jack asked letting go. "No." Dave answered walking by Jack. "I'll talk to you later." Dave said getting in his car. *Great, just great!* Jack thought to himself.
