an Michaels felt sad. She was going to camp and it was her first time. Jan had nobody to talk to.Then Jan spotted a girl sitting alone in a bus seat. When the bus stopped, Jan walked over to her seat. "Hi! I'm Jan. What's your name?" Jan asked. "My name's Alicia. My parents sent me to camp. I was told my friend Kristy was going to be here, but she isn't. I guess I can throw away these dumb earings." Alicia said. Alicia opened her hand for Jan to see the earings. They were hearts with glitter and feathers. "Alicia, I'll be your friend. At first, I thought I wouldn't have a friend. Now, I think I found a friend, you." Jan said happily. Alicia smiled, gave Jan a hug, and handed Jan a pair of friendship earings.
