昔、まだ小さいネコがいました。そのネコは毎日家の外を探検に行きました。 そして毎日なにか新しい発見をしました。 ある日、ネコはきずついたスズメを見つけました。羽はおれています。やさしいネコはスズメをくわえて家につれてかえりました。 ネコの家族は、つれられた鳥を見るとすぐに獣医さんにつれていきました。 羽に杖をつけてから、獣医さんはネコの頭をなぜて家族のネコにこういいました。「鳥の命はだいじょうぶです。でも二度ととべないでしょう。」 家族は鳥を家につれてかえり、元気になるまでそだてました。 スズメはそれからずっとネコの家族といっしょにくらしています。
nce opon a time there lived a very young cat. Every day she went out of the house to explore. And every day she went out she found something new. One day she fell upon an injured sparrow, the wing was broken. Being as kind as he was, the cat took the sparrow into his mouth and carried it home. The cat's family saw the cat carrying the bird and quickly took it to the vet. After putting a cast onto the birds wing, the doctor patted the cat on the head and told the family that the bird would livel, but it would never be able to fly again. So the family took it into their home and brought it back to health. The sparrow has lived with them ever since.
