ある日、13の子どもがいるライオン二頭がサバンナにいきました。 子どもたちは大よろこび。お父さんライオンとお母さんライオンが陽にあたりながらねているとき、あそんでおいかけっこをしていました。 しばらくして、お母さんライオンがお家にかえろうとこどもたちをよびました。そしてリッキがいないのに気づきました。 ガンの音がして、みんなリッキが人間にうたれてしまったと思いました。 家族ライオンがほかの動物にリッキをみなかったかときいてまわっているとき、リッキは家にかえる道をさがしてサバンナをさまよっていました。 スープのいいにおいがして、つかれていたしおなかもすいていたので、危険なことをすっかりわすれてしまい、リッキは人間のキャンプに近づいていきました。 お母さんライオンは森中をさがしていました。森のはずれで お母さんは人間のキャンプにつきました。 人間の子どもがリッキとあそんでいました。あかちゃんはリッキにたべものをあげていました。その子はリッキのせわをしてリッキがよろこぶことをしてあげていました。 もうすっかり暗くなってしまったので、お母さんライオンはテントの横でねてつぎの日リッキをつれてかえろうと思いました。 つぎの日、猟師は自分の子どもがライオンの子どもと仲良くあそんでいるのをみて、 猟師は胸があつくなりました。そしてもう動物をころすのはやめよう、動物の子どもたちがひとりぼっちになってしまうと考えました。 お母さんライオンは、人間の子どもに、リッキにはリッキをさがしている兄弟もママもパパもいるからかえしてほしいとたのみました。 人間のこどもとお父さんは悲しかったけどまたすぐにあおうねと約束してリッキとライオンにさよならをしました。
day two lions that had thirteen pups went in the savanna. The pups, happy, they played and they were chased each other, while their parents were laid down to the sun. After some time, the lioness called his pups to return home and she was realized that Riki missed. Immediately after they felt some shots and they thought that the pup had been killed by the men. While the lion asked all the animals they had seen him, Riki wandered about in the savanna looking for the road of house. He was attracted by a perfumes of soup and was tired, hungry and unaware of the danger the put arrived to the camp of the men. The lion, meanwhile after having turned the whole forest, at the end he also arrived to the camp of the men. He saw a child that played with his pup. The baby had given him to eat, he had attended him and he wanted him a lot of good. The lion decided to sleep next to the curtain and to bring the pup home the day after, since it was growing dark. The next day the hunter saw that his child had a pup of lion to which wanted a lot of good, then him touched and he thought it was better to not kill other animals because their pups would have remained alone. The lion explained to the child that he must give again Riki because he was his child and the mama and the brothers were looking for him. The baby and the dad, crying, greeted Riki and the lion, with the promise to meet again as soon as possible.
