むかしあるところにおんなのこがいました。 おんなのこはビーチをみたことがありませんでした。 おんなのこはプールしかしりません。 おともだちからあるひ、でんわがありました。 そのおともだちはいっしょにビーチにいこうといいました。 それをきいたとたん、おんなのこはみずぎにきがえてママにいってきますとてをふりました。
そとにでたとたん、おともだちはもうきていました。 ふたりはビーチようにすいとうや、たべものや、タオルなどをもっていました。 ビーチについてくるまをおりようとしたときチューインガムがシートにくっついていたのでおりられません。 おんなのこたちはなきだしました。 それから、ガムをくるまのそとにだしました。 おんなのこたちはピクニックバスケットをもってばしょをとりました。 およぎにいってふかいところのはじっこからあさいところのはじっこまでおよぎました。 おひるにはビーチからもどってくるまにはいろうとしましたが、 くるまのなかはガムがまだのこっていてべとべとしていました。
それから、ふたりはぼうをつかってガムをぜんぶきれいにしましたが、くるまはすっかりぬれていてすわれません。 だたら、ふたりでシートをかわかしたのですが、ふたりはシャベルとバケツをビーチにわすれてきてしまったのです。 そして、シャベルとバケツがながされないうちにビーチにもどりました。 ふたりはバケツとシャベルをとってくるためにおよいでいってそしておよいでもどってこなくてはなりませんでした。
おうちにかえったとき、ママはおんなのこをベッドにねかせませした。というのも、おんなのこはおみずをのんでしまってきもちがわるかったからです。ママはよくなりますようにってあついおちゃをいれました。でもよくなりません。 だからおんなのこはベッドにもどってねむりました。 おんなのこはビーチのゆめをみて、それからはたをビーチにわすれてきたことをおもいだしました。 おんなのこはなきさけびました。それはそれはたくさんさけびました。
Once there was a girl. She did not know about the beach. She only knew about swimming pools. Her friend called her one day. Her friend asked her to go to the beach with her. As soon as her friend said it, the girl jumped up and got her bathingsuit and waved goodbye to her mother. As soon as she got outside, her friend was there. They got a waterbottle, some food and two towels and set off for the beach. They drove to the beach and tried to get out of the car, but the gum that they were chewing got caught on the seat. The girls started to cry. Then, they got the gum out of the car. The girls got their picnic basket and settled down. They went swimming and swam to the deep end and back to the shallow end. They left the beach at noon and tried to get in the car, but it was too sticky because they did not get all the gum off. Then, they finally got all the gum off with a stick but it was too wet to get in. So they dried the seat off but they forgot their shovel and bucket on the! beach and went back to get them before they floated away. They had to swim out to get the bucket and shovel and swim back. When the girl got home, her mother ran to her and put her in bed because the girl didn't feel well from the water she swallowed. And her mother made her some hot tea to make her feel better. But it didn't. So, she went back to bed and she fell asleep. She dreamed about when she was at the beach and remembered that she left her flag at the beach. She screamed. She screamed so much.
