The Cowboy is forced to ride in the storm because the herd of cattle is moving randomly. In this storm anyhing can happen. The cattle stampede when lightning strikes amd thunder roars. Small calves can be trampled. Other cows will stray from the herd.
A good cowboy is worth a lot.
