"Animals of Panama"
by
Darlene Seeley

I love animals. I know a lot about them. One of the things I know is that animals should be treated the way everyone else is treated. Animals are just like us, they have to have food, air and water.

The animals of Panama are mostly found in the rain forest and in Panama's jungles. One of the animals I know of is the parrot. I have a parrot named Jose. If you want to teach them how to talk, you must repeat your words over and over again. The only way you can tell if a parrot is male or female is by testing it's blood.

My bird can say "hello", "good morning", "What cha doing?" "MMM, is it good?" "Come here", "gimme kiss" "gotcha" and I can't remember what else. I also know that red-headed parrots do not talk as good as the yellow-headed ones.
