"Mousie"
by
Jaime Anthony

Scurrying across the floor,
Looking for a piece of cheese,
Please don't leave behind your bugs,
Like lice, ticks, or tiny fleas.
There's some in the fridge,
Or up on the counter top,
Though the dishwasher may be an obstacle,
Don't let it make you stop!
Mousie, mousie,
You've reached you goal,
Now carry your cheese,
Back to your hole.

The End
