"Good morning, sleepy head!"Snowball,a baby bunny, open her eyes to see her mother standing next to the bed."It's your birthday today."

"Mom!You woke me up just to tell me that?So where's my present?"

"Oh,my little bunny,I think the master will take care of that. It's a surprise!"

"Mommy,I can't wait! Can't you just tell me now since it's my birthday, and I'm the birthday bunny?"

"No,dear. You'll just have to wait till the master comes!I cooked a special birthday breakfast for you to take your mind off of the surprise."

Snowball pleaded,"Mommy! That's not going to take my mind off of the.....what's for breakfast?"

Her mother laughed."That's my bunny.I cooked..carrot cake and lettuce pudding!"

Snowball was delighted."Mommy! You've always said that carrot cake and lettuce pudding was bad for you if you eat it at breakfast!"

"I know, dear. But since it's your birthday you can have it.Anyhow,it's just this once...and a birthday is such a special thing...it can't hurt you for once!"

"Oh,how perfectly lovely!"

Snowball hopped to the table and started stuffing herself with the carrot cake and lettuce pudding. She was almost finished when the master picked her up.

"Hi,my cute little bunny wunny. So it's your birthday today.I have your surprise present!"And the master held up a little newborn baby bunny for Snowball to see,and the master put her down.

"I'll leave you to get acquainted with your new baby sister."

"Mommy! Is it really true?I have a new baby sister?"Snowball hopped excitedly to her mother.

"Yes,honey. She was born last night..and my little sleepyhead didn't notice at all!I made the birthday breakfast after she was born, and you usually wake up whenever I make carrot cake or lettuce pudding!"

"So that's why I dreamed about carrot cake and lettuce pudding! Her birthday is a day before mine!Wow!Mommy, did you name her yet?" Snowball asked.

"No,dear.I'll let you name her."Her mother said.

"Then I'll name her Snowbell. And Mommy?"

"What is it,dear?"

"I have a stommick ache!Owwwww!"

"Oh,dear me.I know I shouldn't have made you the carrot cake and lettuce pudding for breakfast! You know you have a sensitive stomach..."
