このお話では, は "マイス、マウス",
は "テーブ、テーブルクロス", は "サンド、サンドイッチ",
は "ボーリー、ボール", は "かいだんぽいかいだん".

むかしむかし、がふらふらと歩いているとボールを見つけました。はボールが生きているなんて知りません。そこではをポンポンつきました。「おぉ！」とボールはどなりました。

はかけだしました。「もどっておいでよ。」とボールがいいました。「ぼくの名前は。きみはぼくのこといたくさせているよ。」「ごめんなさい」とはもどってきていいました。

ふたりは歩き始めました。するとふたりはテーブルクロスを見かけました。ひとりがこういいました。「ねぇねぇ、すわるのにはもってこいの楽しそうなテーブルクロスだねぇ。」ふたりはテーブルクロスの上にすわりました。とつぜんキャーというさけび声！　ふたりは走りだしました。「どうしてここにきてあそんでくれないの？　わたしの名前はよ」とテーブルクロスがいいました。するととはもどってきました。

ねずみは歩き、ボールはころころころがって、テーブルクロスはするするすべっていきました。とつぜん、ねずみがサンドイッチをみつけてひろいあげました。 だれかさんがこういいました。「そうするといたいよ！」みんなは走りだしました。「もどってきてよ。わたしの名前は。」とはいいました。するとみんなはもどってきました。

みんながまた歩き始めるとかいだんをみかけました。が大声でみんなにいいました。「一番上にのぼってとびおりようよ。きっとおもしろいよ。」 するとねずみがいいました。「それよりもノックをしてだれかさんをおどろかしたほうがもっとおもしろいさ。」 みんなはトントンとノックし始めました。「こら、いたいよ！」とかいだんがいいました。みんなはびっくりしてじっとしていました。だれかさんがこういうのはもうなれっこになっていたのでみんなで声をそろえていいました。「名前をあててみようか！」

がいいました。「かい、かいだん。」「はずれ。」とかいだん。

がいいました。「いてて、かいだん。」「はずれ。」とかいだん。

がいいました。「ペリーかいだん。」「はずれ。」とかいだん。

がいいました。「！」「あたり〜。」と。

そしてみんなでいっしょに遊びました。


Once mice mouse was walking around and he saw a ball. He didn't know the ball was alive, so he started bouncing it. And then the ball yelled; "Ow!"

Mice mouse started running. The ball said; "Come back." "My name is Bally Ball. You were hurting me." Mice Mouse came back. He said; "I'm sorry."

So they started walking, and they saw a tablecloth. One of them said; "Hey, that looks fun to sit on." They sat down on it. All of a sudden, there was a screech! They started running. The tablecloth said; "Why don't you come and play with me? My name is Tab Tablecloth." So, they came back.

The mouse walked, the ball rolled, the tablecloth slid. All of a sudden, the mouse saw a sandwich. He picked it up. Someone said; "That hurts!" They started running. Sand Sandwich said; "Come back. My name is Sand Sandwich." They came back.

Then they started walking, and they saw some stairs. Bally Ball announced; "Let's go to the top and jump down. It might be fun." Then the mouse said; "It would be more fun to knock and surprise someone." So, they started knocking and the stairs said; "Hey that hurts!" Then they stood still. They were used to someone saying this, and they said; "Let us guess your name!"

Mice Mouse said; "Stair Stairs." The stairs said; "No."

Then Bally Ball said; "Ouch Stairs." The stairs said; "No."

Tab Tablecloth said; "Perry Stairs." The stairs said; "No."

Sandwich said; " Stairsy Stairs." And he said; "Yes."

They played together.
