チャーリー　ハノウラの"ビーチパーティー"

このお話では,

ある日、いっぴきの

と友だちが浜辺でピクニックをしようと決めました。そこでみんなはおべんとう、チーズ、

、そして飲み物をつめこみました。みんながビーチにつくと

をとりだして遊び始めました。暖かい砂の上のボールのあとをはだしで追いかけるのは、それは楽しいものでした。

一時間もするとみんなはおなかがすいてきてお昼ごはんをたべようとすわりこみました。みんなは２、３びきのアヒルたちにもお昼を分けてあげようとご招待。アヒルたちはすぐにその申し出をうけいれました。その頃ミスティグリスという太ったネコがライフガードとして

にのぼっていました。

「水にとびこめ！」と

はさけびました。水は冷たく気持ちのいいものでした。

と友だちはミスティグリスが見張っている間いままでにない楽しい時をすごしました！

でもわれらの友だち、

は気持ちが悪くなってきてしまったのです！　

はたくさん食べたのに、十分に待たずに水に飛びこんだからです。ライフガードは

を見つけ水から浜辺に助けだしました。

はビーチ

をさがしまわりましたが見あたりません！　

はまちがいなくお家においてきちゃったのです！　

はぶるぶるふるえて、頭がくらくらしはじめました...

は体がかわくまで暑いお日さまの下にいなければなりませんでした。

にとってそれはあまり心地いいものではありませんでした。でも

にとって教訓でした。ちゃんと準備をしてビーチにいくこと！

One day, a mouse and his friends decided to go on a picic to the beach. So they packed their lunch, cheese, sandwiches and drinks. When they got to the beach they took out their beach ball and started playing. They had lots of fun runing bare feet after the ball on the warm sand.
They got hungry after an hour and sat to eat their lunch. They invited a couple of ducks to share their lunch. The ducks accepted quickly, while Mistigris the fat cat climbed the stand as a lifeguard.
"To the water!"shouted the mouse.The water was nice and cool . The mouse and his friends were having the best time ever, while Mistigris was watching them!
But our friend the mouse started feeling sick! He had ate a lot and did not wait enough before jumping in the water. The lifeguard saw him and helped him out of the water to the beach. He then looked and looked around for his beach towel and could not find it! He surely left it home! He was shivering and feeling dizzy...
He had to stay in the hot sun till he dried up. It was not a happy hour for him, but he learned his lesson: to come to the beach prepared!
