ne day at my old school,
I was telling my friend about my very loose tooth, so loose that
I could use my tongue to stick the whole thing out, (but it still
was connected with my mouth, though.) I showed it to everyone,
even my LEP teacher.
?ew,? she frowned.
?sn? that cool, Mrs. Ramsdale?? I asked her.
After LEP, my friends and I talked about my tooth again. I said,
?? proud of my tooth, especially this one.? My friends said,
?hat was sooooooooooooooooooo cool! It sticks right out!?
?eah!? I said. Then we walked into the Kindergarten classroom
slowly. I saw my Kindergarten teacher, Miss Smit walked by, I
said, ?ey Miss Smit! LOOK!? I stuck my tooth out and showed her
how loose it was. She carried me in her arms. She said, ?old
on.?
?uh?? I asked her. Her hands lift up in the air, touched my tooth,
and then PULLLLLLLL!!!!!! She pulled my tooth right out.
?HHHH!!!! Blood? comin? out!!! NOOOOO!!!!!? I screamed.
?o blood,? Miss Smit said calmly. ?t should?e been pulled off
long time ago.? I felt so funny! This is the first time ever
my tooth has been pulled off WITHOUT BLOOD! I was daydreaming
when one of my friends asked, ?s it really that surprising??
?robably,? I stopped daydreaming. ? don? know why I was so surprised.?
At home I told Dad all about it. ?hat was so surprising! It was
weird, too!?
?o are you going to get a quarter from the Toothfairy?? my Dad
asked me.
Toothfairy? I thought, A quarter from her! ?es!? I yelled.
I? gonna be rich! I got a plastic little bag and put my tooth
inside. I laughed. My tooth laughed, too.
? gonna get money from the Toothfairy, Toothfairy, Toothfairy?
Money O? money and Toothfairy, Toothfairy gives me some money!?
I sang as I put the bag under my soft pillow.
The next day, I checked my pillow. I shouted, ? QUARTER! YAY!
YAY!? I kept the quarter in my piggy bank. I jump up and down
in my bedroom.
I smiled. If every loose tooth ended up like this, it would be
perfect!
