"I don't get it," he finally said. Laura looked up from her book. She was always reading. "Don't get what?" she asked, looking at Eric and his chimichanga. "It looks like a burrito." Eric hadn't wavered his gaze from his lunch. He started moving around to look at it from different perspectives. "Why is it called a chimichanga?" Laura put her bookmark in her book and started looking at his chimichanga, too. She soon started getting confused. "That's a good question," she finally said, picking up her burrito. Biting into it, it was filled with beans and cheese. Following her example, Eric took a bite of his chimichanga. It was good, with no beans, just shredded steak and cheese. Laura looked over the contents of their lunch. "Maybe beans make the burrito," Eric said, taking another bite. Honestly, he hated beans, and he was glad that the difference between a burrito and a chimichanga were the ingredients. |
