"Hanging Around in Spain"

I started of my trip to Spain with a visit to Madrid, the capitol of Spain since 1562. My tour guide led me first to the Reina Sophia Museum, an art museum. He told me that it is the second most visited museum in Madrid and that it held works of Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro, and lots others. One of the paintings I saw there was Picasso’s Guernica. It is entirely black and white and shows the bombing of Guernica during the Spanish Civil War.
We then went to the Waxworks Museum, which was full of over 400 wax sculptures of historical figures and today’s celebrities. That was really fun. Afterwards though, the day came to an end and I was dropped off at my hotel room, were I planned what country I was going to next.
