t was a nice
sunny day. We had to wake up very early so that we wouldn't waste
time before Ratanga Junction opened. We all put on comfortable
clothes and packed in extra clothes for when we get wet on the
water rides. When we arrived there it wasn't very full but we
knew it was going to get crowded later. My parents payed for
our tickets and we all got little bracelets to put on our arms.
We walked on and the very first ride we went on was the Congo
Queen. The next ride we went on was the Cobra. That ride was
extremely fast. It was so fast that my head kept banging on the
sides of the seat. Then we went on the Diamond Devil. It is a
train ride that goes slow at first and then fast and it made
a very loud noise. We went on the Congo Queen a few more times
and then we went to go and have lunch at Canal Walk. We all had
KFC and walked around the shops for a bit and then went back
to Ratanga Junction. We went the other way this time and went
on all the rides that we went on again. Then we went to the Monkey
Falls and I got a little bit wet there. The very last ride we
went on was the Crocodile Gorge. There are a lot of waterfalls
and my sister went under the same waterfall twice. She was soaked
from head to foot. Her boots were wet for two days after that! |
