nce upon a time there was a little boy named Josh. He lived right on the beach with his mother and father. Everyday Josh would walk down on the beach and pick up some interesting shells and other ornaments that he could find. But one day Josh saw something very amazing on the water, he could not believe what he saw there on the water, it was the mighty Blue Whale!

This was the first time that Josh had ever seen this beautiful animal. His father had told him stories about the Blue Whale. How it saved so many lives. Sometimes he would dream about riding the Blue Whale and being able to breath underwater. He would dream this nearly every night. He now saw his chance to fulfill this dream. But the only thing that kept him back was the thought of drowning underwater. If only he was able to breath underwater. But he could not do anything more, so he ran into the water and jumped with all his might, and succesfully landed on top of the Blue Whale!

He was so happy! He could not believe that he was going to ride this magnificent animal. But then suddenly without warning he dropped down into the sea. What had happened?! First he was on top of the whale then dropped down into the sea. But then he realized that the whale had made him slip off.

Then he saw that the whale was watching him! He reached out to touch the whale. The Whale moved back but watched cautiosly. Josh went further and at last touched the whale. He asked the whale if the whale wanted to be his friend. The whale made a noise that sounded like a yes. Josh named the whale Walter. Walter and Josh played into the sunset. Josh knew that his dream might not have come true but this was even better than his real dream.
