Hudson did not find the route but he did find a river and he named it after himself, The Hudson River. Even though he didnít find the All East Water Route he kept searching New York. On the Half Moon he had 20 men that were hard workers. Three years later he died 1611. He was thrilled to discover The Hudson River. He had a son Jon who came on this special journey. They went back to Europe to tell of this over joyous voyage. On this voyage Hudson took a Dutch ship the Half Moon.
