n a village, there lived a washerman and his donkey. The donkey was very old.

One day the donkey fell in a abondened dry well in the village and could not come out. All the villagers tried their best but could not help it. To spare it the pain and to prevent any more accidents they decided to fill the well with soil and bury the donkey.

As they started throwing soil into the well the donkey became frightened. Then it had an idea. As the soil fell on its back, it shook it off and climbed on to the soil. After some time as the soil level in the well rose higher and higher, it was closer and closer to the mouth of the well. And in no time it walked out of the well. Ever body was surprised but very happy.

So, when you are down don't give up.
