"A Trip to jolly ol' England"

L
and ho! After a seven week trip we spotted our destination, jolly ol' England. We had sailed South along the coasts of Texas, Mexico, and South America and crossed near Antartica and from then on North up the West coast of Africa up to Europe and landed in England. We didn't cross the Atlantic because of storms, but we did cross the equator.

Me and my mom unloaded our clothes from our homemade sailboat and docked the boat. We took a taxi to the famous Kings Cross Steam Train Station, got our tickets, and jumped on the train. The United Kingdom countryside was beautiful. It was a lush green landscape. Suddenly the train got a jolt of speed and everyone in the coach flew back into their seats. I saw smoke rise from the engine so I got up and walked to the engine. The driver had trouble with the boiler, he had added to much coal to the firebox and the piston tube exploded letting the axles roll freelly which could result in a crash at the station! The driver and I pulled on the brake lever but it bent and broke off. I jumped up to the railing and jammed the axle with the broken brake lever and the train coasted to a stop at the station. I found my mom in the crowd and the driver invited us for lunch.

First we went to the First Bank of London, it was a beautiful bank, there also was a tapestry I liked also, it showed a king demanding for taxes from the innocent villagers, but then he was overcome by a good knight who restored proper order to the kingdom. The ca'fes we passed were very busy. At the end of the road there was a small deli resturaunt, the sandwiches were delicuos! I had my favorite, grilled cheese, with American cheese, I even got to have my favorite tea, hot spiced tea! Mmm! I was having alot of fun, and so was my mom. When we had finished our lunch we went to an inn which seemed to resemble the Leaky Cauldron from the Harry Potter books, only brighter.

After a good nights sleep we went into the breakfast hall. After a hearty English breakfast I got up and went to a wall of frames and came across a picture that interested me, it showed a castle with seven towers in all, six of the towers were at ground level connected by battlement topped walls forming a hexagon, the last tower was built in between the top and middle levels of the three battlement topped walls. I noticed it was a photograph so I asked the inn keeper where it was located. He said it was on the West coast of Britain.

We took a very long taxi ride to where our boat was docked and jumped in. We raced around the South tip of England and a short way North and found the castle. We went inside and awed at the huge great hall. We went upstairs and found the treasure of the castle. We took a chest and left some of our money to fill in for our takings. We went North and crossed the Artic Ocean near the North Pole and went South down to Texas and up the Brazos river home to Bryan. We donated two thirds of the treasure to the museum and kept the rest to ourselves. It is safe and sound in the hull of our boat to this day.
