o here we are. Boarding the boat called, The Pirate. I'm Zellie. My Friends are Julia, Brian, Lorenzo, Avery, Katherine, Natasha, Ashley, and Keli. All of us are eight, nine, or ten years old.

We are all going to Hawaii for the summer with no parents. We were renting the Pirate for three years since our school is closing for three years because of repairs. They are going to rip down the school which will take a year. Then they are going to build it which will take two years.

Whoosh. We're taking off. "Bye Zellie." That is my little sister calling.

Later on that day.
I think I see some storm clouds coming this way. Whoa! A huge blast of wind just hit me! "There's a storm coming! Take cover!" That's what I keep yelling to Lorenzo. Crack. Oh no! The sail and the bow broke! The ship is going to sink!

"Everybody grab some drift wood!"

"Where are we? Where are you Keli?! Hey I'm not on my drift wood piece! I'm on the shore. Oh! There are my friends!"
"Err, where is my treasure?"
"You Guys, hide!" I said. We ran behind some bushes. "Be quiet!" I said.
"Go look for my treasure!" "Yes sir!"

After they left Brian said, "Well we just saw pirates. Anyone have a comment?" "That was scary!" Julia, Avery, Ashley, and Natasha chimed together. "I think I can explain," said a voice. We all turned our heads. We saw a creature that had a body like a camel, a hump, no ears, six bird legs, a dog's nose, and a horse's tail!
"Who are you?" Katherine asked.
"I'm Tommy," Tommy said.
"Well then what are you?" Lorenzo asked.
Tommy said, "I'm an Iika, and who are you?"
I said, "I'm Zellie and this is Lorenzo, Julia, Katherine, Natasha, Brian, Ashley, Keli, and Avery."
"How old are you?" Brian asked.
"Just three thousand years old." Tommy said.
"Whoa! That's a lot. How long do Iikas live to be?" Julia asked.
Tommy said, "They live to be three trillion years old."
"Wow!" Julia said.
"Now let me explain," Tommy said. "A long time ago a pirate named Jose buried treasure here. He named this island The Pirates' Island. He created the Iika to guard the three treasures. He hid two keys and gave one to an Iika named Tommy."
"Are you that Tommy?" I asked.
"No, I'm not that Tommy," Tommy said. "I was named after him though. That was three hundred years ago anyway." said Tommy. "Lots of pirates wanted the three treasure chests but never succeeded in getting it. But this year I have a problem. This pirate is Black Beard," said Tommy. Katherine gasped.
"Well what are we waiting for? Let's go get us some treasure," Brian said.
"Here is the first key. The first treasure is by those cliffs over there," Tommy said. He pointed.
"But first we need a boat," Lorenzo observed.
"That's easy," Tommy said. He swished his tail three times and out of no where a boat popped out into view!
"Wow! Iikas do magic too?" Natasha asked.
"Yes, we do magic." Tommy answered.
"Come on y'all! Let's go find some treasure!" Brian and Julia said.

Later that day.
"I found it!" Brian yelled. He carefully put the key in the keyhole. It opened up slowly. Inside was one piece of bronze money.
"Maybe there's something under it." Katherine said.
"Good observation Katherine!" Avery said. Brian, Avery, Julia, Katherine, and I all put our fingers through the sides of the treasure chest. Another slot opened up!
"Yay Katherine!" we yelled. Katherine smiled. Inside the slot was a photo and another key. We looked at the photo. It had a picture of a woman. She had dark curly brown hair with green eyes and a green dress. She was very pretty.
"Let's go get the other treasure," said Lorenzo.
"I see it!" said Avery. She put the key into the keyhole. It opened up. Inside was one silver piece. We tried opening the side part again. A slot opened up. Inside the slot was a key, nine spears and a picture of a dog, toucan, and cat. The toucan was green, red, blue, and purple. The dog was light blonde and brown, and the cat was orange with black stripes. They were very cool.
"Let's go find the last treasure," Natasha said.
"Help me!" Tommy's voice screamed. We came running as fast as our legs could carry us. Tommy was being led by two pirates towards a tree. Then they started tying him to the tree. We ran out to get them away but they got out their spears. We got out ours. Brian and I sent their spears flying out of their hands. Then they ran away screaming. Then the captain came out. We all got out our spears then sent his flying out of his hands. He ran away screaming too.

We found the treasure chest and took out the other treasures we had found. Keli put the key in the keyhole then we opened up the chest. Inside was a gold piece, photo of a ship with two kids, a beautiful lady, a toucan, a cat, a dog, and a man with a pirate's hat and three treasure chests.
"Jose must have hid his treasures. His treasures were his family," Keli said.
"Yes. His treasures were his family," Lorenzo repeated.
"Hey, let's go bury the treasure in different spots then before!" Julia exclaimed.

The next day.
"Tommy? Would you mind making this boat look like The Pirate?" Julia asked.
"I don't mind making the boat look like The Pirate. But why do you want it to look like The Pirate?" Tommy asked.
"I would like you to make it look like The Pirate because we rented it," Brian said.
"Oh. Ok," Tommy said.
"Thanks," Avery said.
"Bye!" Tommy said.
"Come back and visit me! I'll show you the way in unique way since I can do magic. Oh, and one more thing. Drink this water of life," Tommy said.
"How long will it make us live to be?" asked Katherine.
"One trillion years old," Tommy said.
"Awesome!" Brian exclaimed.
"Just don't tell anyone about this adventure, ok?" Tommy asked.
"Ok!" we said together.
"Well, we better get going to Hawaii. We still have twenty more weeks left of summer!" Brian exclaimed.
"Bye!" we all yelled. Then we floated away to Hawaii.
