t is dark, the white light of the forsaken moon shines on the smooth top of the deep, dark lake. Loud thunder rolls in echoing throught the forest. Every few moments a bright, golden flash of lightening lights up the black sky that contains all of our hidden secrets. Tall and large trees dance in the wind as it whistles through their pine green leaves, as if playing a symphony. I step outside and the cold piercing wind blows against my skin, and feels as if I'm being stabbed by a million tiny needles. Clear driplets of rain pour down looking like shiny glass and making little streams everywhere, and giving everything a shimmering glaze. Everything is getting louder now and faster my heart starts to beat rapidly as nature surrounds me. Then after a few minutes everything slows down. It gets calm and relaxing as nature's beauty slips away into complete silence, except for the gentle humming of a lonesome cricket. |
