"Billy's Problem"

O
nce upon a time there were three boys, Bill, Bob, and Billy. Since they hung out with each other so much people just called them the ìthree Bísî. One day the ìthree Bísî were playing a good game of catch. While they were playing catch Jack, the bully, was shoving a poor, sad little kid around. Jack got frustrated and pushed the little kid on the cold, hard ground. The little kid scraped his elbow and started to cry sadly. Just then, the principal came over and asked Jack what happened. As he was walking over, Bill threw a fastball to Billy. Billy missed the ball with and it flew behind him, so, he went running after it. Jack saw Billy running and said, ìBilly hit him then said, ìI tried to stop him but I couldnítî. The principal saw Billy running away so he yelled out, ìBilly come here right nowî. Billy not knowing what he did wrong went up to the principal. The principal said, ìgo to my office now!î Billy sauntered to the office. Then Bill and Bob went up to the principal and asked why Billy had to go to the office. The principal said, ìBecause he hurt this poor little kidî. Bill and Bob tried to convince the principal that Billy didnít do anything, but he still would not listen. Billy got suspended. Everyone was angry, everyone that is except for Jack and the principal. Of course, Billy also got grounded by his very angry parents. Bill and Bob were so mad that they went to the store and spent 20 dollars on a tape recorder. The next day was a Saturday, so Bill and Bob put the tape recorder in Billís shirt and they went to the arcade where Jack always goes. While they were waiting for Jack to come, they spent one dollar on their favorite game, Space Invaders. They played that game for about half an hour. All of a sudden Jack walked through the door. Bill whispered to Bob, ìthere he is, do you have the tape recorder ready?î Bob said, ìYepî, and ran behind a table. Jack went to go play Space Invaders, he slipped a dollar into the machine and played. Bill just wa! tched hi m play; five dollars later Jack was out of money. Bill still had money left. Bill said, ìhey Jack, Iíll give you 3 dollars if you tell me again how you pushed that kid down and blamed Billy.î Jack was so into the game that he would do anything. Then Jack thought to himself nobodyís around. While Jack was thinking Bill rushed over to Bob and said, ìturn the tape recorder on in 1 minute.î Bob acknowledged the request. A minute later Jack told him the entire story. Bob pressed the record button. The tape started. Jack started telling the story. He said that he kept on pushing the little kid around because the kid wouldnít give him his lunch money. So then I pushed him harder and he started crying. Then I saw Billy running away so I blamed him. Thatís all that happened now give me 3 dollars. Bill gave him the money and Jack started playing. Bill rushed over to Bob again and asked him if he got it. Bob had gotten everything on tape. On Monday, Bill and Bob went rushing to school. While they were running to school they said to each other, this had better work, thinking about all of the money they spent on getting the information. They ran into the office with the recorder. They showed the principal the tape, she listened to it and found out that it wasnít Billy, it was Jack. So, he called Jack and Billy to the office. When they got there, he put Jack in one room and Billy in another. He first talked to Billy. The principal told him that he found out that Billy didnít do it and he asked if there was anything he could do. Billy said there is one thing, ìPlease call my parents.î The principal said,î All rightî. So, Jack was miserable and Bill was so happy.

Moral: donít lie, principals always find out!
