nce there was a Rabbit and a Turtle. The Rabbit's name was Jack, and the Turtle's name was Braxton. They were roommates at an "Under Ground College" for animals. They were getting ready for a race between a boy named Bryan and Braxton. Jack has been training him for the race. Bryan is a boy who can run really fast and he has ben looking forward to winning the race tomorrow. He thinks he is the best runner in the Galaxy. Bryan bet that if he lost the race, he would pay Braxton $1000. Braxton was happy.

Bryan was practicing on a track in his backyard. "I really want to win," he said to himself. That night he could not stop thinking about the race.

"Well...today is the race," said Jack.

"I guess all of our work will pay off," said Braxton.

As they were walking down the road...BOO!!! Someone jumped out of the bushes, but it was only Bryan. So they all walked down the road together, when they got there Jack said, "WOW, this is a big track." As they got ready for the race the judge said, "Good evening." When the two friends were ready, the judge said, "On your mark, get set...GO!!!" And they were off. They were side by side and they were not even ;thinking about winning or losing.

Now they are almost down with the erace. Do you know who won? Braxton did!!! And Bryan was very mad because he had to pay $1000. But they were both friends and lived happily ever after.
